I absolutely love this mirror. We had it recessed as part of our tiny bathroom remodel and it has given me so much additional storage. I love the mirrored inside, it makes it more beautiful, but also gives a sense of airiness throughout the bathroom. I used clear acrylic drawer organizers to help organize smaller items in the mirror, and it worked nicely. My only complaint would be it would be nice if it came with a third glass shelf. I did contact the company to purchase an additional shelf, and they are sending me a new one for free! I was concerned about having a split in my mirror and thought I wouldn’t like it however, the split is far enough to the side that it does not affect where I stand at all. I Installed this as a hanging cabinet not in a cutout. I watched a YouTube video to do the install which helped tremendously-more than the paper instructions to be honest. Only complaint is that to install the top clips it’s a little tough because of the angle. I needed another person to hold the cabinet while I put the clips in. Otherwise no issues. This is a first class medicine cabinet. Very sturdy, good instructions, easy to install. My wife loves the inside mirrors so she can pretty much see how her hair looks all around. Bottom mounting bracket is very good and is wide enough to be able to screw into two studs, yet not the full width so you can position it to hit the studs. Too bad they cant have the bracket with spaced holes like they do on TV mounting brackets so you don't have to drill where you need your mounting screws to go in the bracket. Also, they expect you to have two sheetrock wall mounting anchors to attach the two top corner holding brackets. Fortunately i had the drill,bit and sheetrock anchors and was able to install it in about 10-15 minutes. Also ,BE AWARE, the instructions show metal clips to be attached to the sides for the side mirrors, but, they changed it over to four solid plastic blocks (without a new instruction sheet or an additional paper telling of the change). The plastic blocks worked out fine. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. I need a smaller medicine cabinet for another bathroom that I will be remodeling in a few months and I will only be looking for one made by Kohler ... show more

    • Good cabinet, terrible shipping.
The cabinet is great. But Amazon needs to do something about their shipping of this product. I have purchased four Kohler medicine cabinets from them in the past month. Two out of four arrived with the glass smashed. This is a real pain as I have to repack a box full of shattered glass, then return it to a UPS store. Anyway - these Kohler cabinets are great, I have been buying them for twenty years. They don't rust or corrode. The beveled mirror edges are classy. Beware of Kohler cabinets sold at Big Box stores, they are often a much cheaper unit with thin glass lacking the bevel. Installation is easy but it is smart to have a helper to hold the cabinet in place while you install the clips that secure it to the wall. ... show more
