Mostly I wanted this to use as a security bar. I had no interest in the additional features like the flashlight, window breaker, or the seatbelt cutter. But the basic bar works well, so why not get the other features as well. I had no issues with receiving a used bar or with dead flashlight batteries as some seem to have had, mine was well packaged and in good condition. The bar itself works well and is very easy to use. It takes only seconds to unlock and remove it and its even faster to put it back on. The one thing I am having issues with is the rubber strips that are designed to stick to the curved parts of the bar that connect with your steering wheel so as to keep the bar from wearing on the wheel. I live in Texas and the temperature has been well into the 108 degrees range for the two weeks that I have had the bar. You can imagine the temperature INSIDE the car. Its been too much for the glue that holds the rubber strips in place, though I am still using them until it gets cooler again and I can find another way to keep them in place. The bar itself gets way too hot to touch on the metal areas, but the bar has a soft cover on it that stays cool enough to handle the bar with. These are defeated by cutting the steering wheel (not cutting the bar), but even that is more work then most thieves want to put into it so I am hopeful this will work well.

Like that it's multi purpose. Like the unique key. Easy to put on. Easy off. A little harder to get it adjusted right to be tight at first. Like that the one I got is high visibility red.

It is easy to use- put on or take off. Seems sturdy. Can't seem to get flashlight to work and there isn't replacement keys. Lose a key and you have to buy another one.
