I was nervous ordering this because of all the “no straw” reviews, and when I opened my package there was no stainless steel straw. I grabbed the packaging and felt something hard in it. I looked inside and there she was. The stainless steel but had fallen out of its package and into the Amazon packaging. That being said, the illustration on the back of the product package and the product photos on Amazon show that the stainless steel straw is supposed to be longer than the silicone connected.     • straw lid: mine came with stainless straw
I love the TKWide bottle for hot tea with the loop cap, but now that it’s hot out, this lid makes it useful for water & it is easy to use on the go. It is not easy to clean or trustworthy (I wouldn’t throw it in the bottom of a bag!). But it is the best summer option for my stainless TKWide 32 oz bottle. When I first opened the box I said “darn—those people are right—NO STRAW!” But I looked again and there it was wedged into the flap of the box. If the stainless straw falls out that easily in shipping, doubtless many are laying somewhere in an Amazon warehouse…. I just happened to get lucky. ... show more

    • Not leak proof!!
This top works fine as a straw but don't expect it to be leak proof. If it falls on it's side water comes right out of the top even when you think that you have closed it.

    • Strange leaking issue
We love Klean Kanteen water bottles and have bottles for the whole family. This particular top has a strange issue. If the top is closed for too long, like overnight, water gets gradually pulled up into the straw and leaks into the straw holder area. The next time the top is opened the water spills out. It’s not a huge deal but messy if a kid is using it. ... show more
