Then I went on another hunt for a better cap and found this one. Not only is it cute, it fits well, it’s easy to put on, and my hair isn’t soaked after showering when I wear this cap. I have searched for years for a shower cap large enough to wear when my hair is in a bun on the top of my head. This is also tight enough that water doesn’t get in and it keeps flyaways inside all around my hairline, without being too tight. LOVE!!

** edit ** I emailed the seller and they refunded me AND replaced the broken shower cap. Less than a week I had my money back and a new one. Was pretty happy with this thing for my voluminous hair that does not fit into drug store shower caps. The elastic band broke in one month, 3 days after the return window closed.

I bought this shower cap in January, 2024, and just repurchased it this November, 2024. The photos are from my original purchase to highlight what you can expect over time with this product. Photo 1 shows some fading from the gold colored spots to a red brick color; I’m completely fine with this because I think it still looks pretty. Photo 2 is the back of the cap, a gummy adhesive has come off which allows the cap to seal and stay in place. Photo 3 shows the gummy adhesive is still in place but it is loose; because of these two issues the cap is in need of replacement because it doesn’t stay in place and slides onto my forehead when in use. With all that being said, this was the 2nd shower cap i’ve ever purchased. I love this one because it doesn’t leave a harsh line across my forehead after use because the design is that it sits and stays high enough on my hairline. It keeps my hair dry while showering, dries completely in between use, is pretty to look at, and easy to use. I love it and that’s why I repurchased it. However, I do not agree with the price since I will have to buy it again in 11 months. I did put it through the washing machine maybe a handful of times and hung it up to dry. Maybe I won’t do that this time and see if the gummy adhesive stays in tack.
