My recent foray into a two-piece outfit, featuring a short-sleeve button-up linen collared shirt and elastic-waist shorts, left much to be desired. Despite the initial promise of a comfortable and stylish ensemble, the reality fell short on several fronts, prompting my decision to return the outfit. Let's start with the material – a critical aspect that can make or break any clothing item. In this case, the poor quality of the fabric was evident from the get-go. Not only did it lack the desired softness associated with linen, but it also felt thin and insubstantial. The disappointment grew as the outfit failed to live up to the expected standard of comfort. The fit was another letdown. As a 5'3" individual weighing 140 lbs, I found the proportions awkward. The button-up shirt seemed to lack proper tailoring for a flattering fit, and the elastic waist on the shorts created an unflattering silhouette. The overall look didn't complement my figure as expected, leaving me feeling less confident and comfortable than I had hoped. Attempting to address the aesthetic issues, I encountered a surprising challenge – the persistent wrinkles. No matter how much effort I invested in trying to smooth out the fabric, the wrinkles remained stubbornly entrenched. This not only added to the overall dissatisfaction with the outfit's appearance but also suggested a lack of durability in the material. In the end, my experience with this 2-piece outfit was less than stellar, leading to the inevitable decision to return it. The combination of poor material, awkward fit, and persistent wrinkles ultimately overshadowed any potential positives. If you're considering this outfit, I would advise approaching it with caution and perhaps exploring other options that prioritize both style and comfort.

My first set arrived with holes in it before even wearing it. I also received an XL bottom with a Large top but I ordered large. I’d say they run small. I am 5”4 and 140 lbs, the large is loose but the shorts which are XL are still on the shorter side for me. It’s a cute design, nice colors. It says 100% cotton on tags. Just don’t expect it to last too long.
