The pink color is beautiful and very flattering. Oftentimes, the pink you get is too much like bubblegum or too bright or too much like those tablets you take when you get a tummy ache. I love pink and it is one of my favorite colors, but I rarely wear it as I don’t feel comfortable in too much color. I moved to Southern California recently after living in New York for over a dozen years and it doesn’t feel right to wear black all the time here lol. The “but” in the title comes from the fact that the dress does not look the same on me as the model and other reviewers. I’m 5’4” but this dress touches the floor if I don’t pull the waist up so it’s loose on the top portion. I like how it looks that way so I’m OK with it. I just was not expecting it to be so long. I have bunions and other foot problems so I tend to wear flats and I can barely get away with wearing this dress without it dragging on the floor. I took off the tag and I like it enough to keep it as it is very comfortable and modest enough to wear to work so I’m hoping to get my money’s worth. It might be too long for the office though, but I can probably make it work. I read another reviewer loved this dress and bought three in different colors until she washed it and it shrunk like 8 inches… so for comfort and styling, I would rate this a 4 star but I’m not sure yet about value or longevity. ... show more

Because the dress was wrinkled, I washed it before wearing. So disappointed to pull it out and see a big tear in the stitching. I am going to try to sew it up and hopefully it won’t be too noticeable.
