The job here was looking for a golfing oriented gift of a unique and interesting nature, for a serious golf nut, and this was a HUGE win. I honestly can't believe the decent level of detail and care for such a low priced item. Granted, this is no "AutoArt" version of a golf cart, but as a detailed miniature rolling model, this is just very impressive, and, although it is just plastic, it is reminiscent of the craftsmanship seen in 1:18 scale die cast models, although I think the scale here is slightly smaller, maybe nearer to 1:43 or so, or somewhere in-between. Bottom line, it's very realistic and is a well made miniature. So, it just made an awesome gift, for a desktop or shelf display piece, and the recipient was hugely pleased. I'm very thankful for the reviews on here, which prompted me to order this -- it's really great when a novelty gift is also just a well made product, and I can certainly see why reviewers have said that it gets a lot of interest as a bona fide toy, because it's a really cool little golf cart!
