Great memory. Before, I was using c16 Tridentz Neo 3600mhz DDR4. It was listed on the QVL list for the Asus Crosshair VIII Impact but I had nothing but issues running it with my 5800x3D. I bought it used and it was essentially 2 of a 4 stick set. I think that might have been the issue 'cause running these I am having 0 issues. Yeah, B-die would be nice but these work great and are at least $50-$60 cheaper. I feel good about buying a $400 X570 motherboard now. Thank you Kingston. I docked a star here because even when using DOCP on my ASUS PRIME board, the RAM fails to boot the system every time at 3600MHz. The JEDEC standard, which is the stable, factory tested standard, is listed as 2400MHz. It runs beautifully at that and as the first DOCP profile of 3000MHz as listed in the image. The seller needs to correct their listing to properly state what the factory safe timings and speed are, and not a speed on the RAM that is literally unobtainable when automatically configured.

Excellent memory kit. I returned a Viper Elite II 4000 kit for this. This Kingston 3600 kit is superior. They are both SK Hynix. However, the Viper Elite II 4000 Kit would run unstable even at 3600 at CL 19. The XMP profiles did not work at all in the Viper Elite 2 4000 kit. I can tell you that this is not the fault of SK hynix. It just seems to be bad binning and false advertising by part of the distributor. This Kingston kit, however, hits the advertised frequency at an exceptionally good CL 16 timing. The 32GB CL16 kit is SK Hynix and Rank 2 (dual rank). I am happy with my purchase. Glad I returned that viper kit. --UPDATE-- Installed this kit into a x570 with ryzen 5950x and it is running at 3800 CL16 without any issues at all even on stress tests without even changing the voltage. I suspect the kit might be able to overclock more but I didnt bother overclocking more at this time, since I dont really need to do so.

I've changed my review from 3 stars to 5. I found that the rgb not lighting up was a conflict in software issue. This kit of ram doesn't play nicely with armoury crate. As soon as I Uninstalled that software, the rgb worked like beautifully.
