I have not taken this camping yet but did try it out. My husband has pups that like to sit with him when we go camping. I bought this so he could sit with a pup or 2. When it came in I opened it to make sure it wasnt broken. It was nice, seems sturdy with thick fabric and comfortable to sit in. Oh and pup approved as one jumped up with me right away. Not a big fan, but it does deserve 4 stars since it’s extremely sturdy and I should read measurements better. The length of this is nice, maybe not big enough to fit us both and one of the kids but our small dog.. sure. However the depth and height of this thing, that’s where I minus a star. I’m 5’2” and have short legs but my thighs come about half way off the couch. My boyfriend is 6’2” and looks like an absolute giant on it. In reality, it works absolutely fine for sitting around a fire in. We were looking for something more substantial for when we watch movies on the back of the house and this doesn’t quite fit our needs. I’ll keep it, as I keep everything I don’t hate… but when I sit in it, it won’t be with love. ... show more

Not going to lie, I bought this purely as a way to be able to cuddle comfortably with my 4 small dogs while camping. All of them wanting to be on my lap at all times was impossible in a normal chair. Now me and my husband can sit by the fire with all our pups. Very good quality. Love that there's a pocket on the back, I was able to keep my kindle there so it didn't get knocked off.
