I had hope because it said "oversized 1100lbs" which is over 300lbs per person. Its built sturdy and im sure it could hold that weight but not comfortably. It is most definitely not oversized. Anyone over 5'10" will not be able to relax on this. Its very shallow and the back is straight up/down. This would be perfect for kids/smaller people and short breaks. Easy to take out and easy to pack up. I wanted a chair my son could lay on at his track meets but also a chair him and some of his friends could sit with. We definitely got out money’s worth. This was also great for when we went to the beach with his cousins
