I've had this ring for a few weeks now. I really like it. This is actually my second Tungsten Carbide ring. The first I had for about 7 years and about 3 weeks ago at the beach, I decided to use the lotion type of sunscreen and then go play a frisbee game with some friends, so let's just say it's long gone. That said, this one is a replacement for my other. First I want to say that the color of this ring is great. I was afraid it would be too silver, but it's what I'd call a good medium gunmetal color. The blue on the inside looks good too and it's one of those things that you really don't see unless the light hits the edge just right. The comfort fit is where it's at. My original wedding band had the old school, flat inside and it could get uncomfortable. After having the comfort fit on my last ring, I won't go back. All rings should have this. One other thing I would mention that I like is the fact that there are no sharp edges or ridges. My last ring had a couple of grooves on the outside that I thought looked cool initially. But on a daily basis when you use any type of hair product, lotion, or anything like that, it would get stuck in the grooves which was gross. You'd have to take off the ring and find something to use to clean it up or dig the stuff out of the grooves. This isn't an issue with this ring. No grooves means it stays clean. The size seems to be true from what I can tell. My last ring was a 10 so that's what I ordered on this one and it feels just the same. The price on this ring can't be beat. Although I'd hate for something to happen to it, if it did it wouldn't break the bank. One thing I will say is that you do have to be careful with these rings if you take them off. If you drop it on a hard surface they can possibly crack or break. That said, avoid taking it off to begin with, but if you have to, just take care not to drop it. Also, this may sound weird but I'm pretty sure you can't cut one of these off if you hurt your finger and it swells up or something like that. If you're going to wear a tungsten carbide ring, I'd recommend looking online to find a demonstration video of how to crack it with a pair of vice grips in an emergency situation like that. Just a good thing to know. Overall I'm really happy with this ring and would recommend it. It seems to be holding up great as far as the finish goes (no color loss, change or scratches). Hopefully it will be with me for a long time. Again, at this price, it's definitely one to try.

I ordered this as a thumb ring! I ordered a size 9 which I find is a little bigger than I expected. I believe my other thumb ring is a size 9.. I could be wrong. But after having it on for several hours the fit is perfect, I ordered the 4mm and loved it so much out of the box that I ordered the 8mm right away in the size 8. Price is cheap enough if it’s too small I will order again. I find this ring to be of high quality, very comfortable and I love the CHOCOLATE color!!

I bought some other rings from amazon that were pretty nice, but they had wood inside some sort of acrylic as part of the ring. The plastic eventually popped out and the tiny piece of wood veneer went with it. I bought this ring to symbolize strength, and my commitment to stay strong, so I really wanted it to have aspects of wood and metal both. This brown brushed tungsten carbide ring is perfect and much more durable than the ring with plastic inset into it. I thought I had scratched this ring once but I guess it was just marked with some material because it faded and now looks as good as it did when it was new. What I like about this ring: The styling and that it looks like something I want it to (it sort of looks like wood). It is very comfortable, with rounded edges that make it very comfortable to wear all day. It is also very thick and heavy, which probably some people wouldn't like, but the fact that it has some heft to it just gives it a bigger psychological impact - at least for me. It's heavy enough that if I threw it as hard as I could at somebody it would really hurt. But it's not so heavy that it is annoying. I like that it's one of the toughest metals out there. That also has psychological impact for me personally. The price was really great. Finally, it is well finished. The "brushed" section of the ring has no flaws. The edges and inside of the ring are highly polished and smooth and have no blemishes whatsoever. What I don't like about this ring? Yeah, I can't really think of anything. I don't mind that it's inexpensive and not gold, that just isn't something I care about. I suppose some people might not like it as a gift for that reason, but I bought this for myself to remind myself of a promise and it's perfect for that. So... I don't know. If you're looking for something expensive I suppose this isn't it. But for a ring I can't see how there are any flaws. One issue, however. I used to be an EMT and if you are prone to swelling (and hey, everybody is eventually...) then you're going to want to make sure this ring is not on your finger. Normal rings can be cut off but these can't. My understanding is that you can only remove them by breaking them (usually with a vice grip), and that's going to be a very painful experience. So this really isn't something you want to wear for work or in dangerous situations where you could be injured and have tissue swelling. Get a silicone soft ring for that, or at least that's my opinion.
