Perfect light weight saddle. I rode 7hrs on a hunt and it held up perfect. I did buy a seat cushion, the seat has zero padding. For the price I feel like I got my moneys worth. I also had to use a gel non slip silicon pad so the saddle didn’t slide, but keep in mind I always have to use one with any saddle for my barrel of a qh. ... show more

Best thing about the saddle is the really truly deep seat and confidence it gives any rider to canter. Second best thing is the light weight for those of us who hate throwing 50 lb saddles (oh my poor aching back). Beware short people, I am 5'2" and had to take the fenders OFF and replace with english leathers and stirrups as I could not raise the western stirrups high enough for my short legs. (Just did not want to wait to have the saddle worked on!) Best thing about that was it tremendously lightened up the saddle some MORE so now saddle is as light as my english one (well-almost). I liked the saddles' deep seat so much I bought one for my mom who has taken up horsebackriding at the age of 80---she was in it over an hour yesterday and is not sore today (you just can't keep a good woman down) but I really attribute her lack of fear to the secure seat this saddle gives. One bad thing only- under the horn next to the horse the suede on mine came unglued and when I glued it back it hardened and gone was the supple feel of suede that WAS there. I use a great pimple saddle pad that protects my horse which fixes that problem anyways. Great range of sizes, great prices, best secure seat EVER. Damned good buy! ... show more

i got this saddle as a temporary saddle until i found a good fit for us both, and ive had it almost a year i use it almost everyday and it still does amazing! its so light especially with my bad wrists. with a great deep seat you set in very well. my only down side on this is the seat is not padded but other then that i love this and still use it everyday, havent found a better one yet thats in the price range, definitely worth it! ... show more

Saddle came with a nylon Latino that had NO HOLES!!!!.. Parts of the horn were not covered and already peeling and the underside material was coming off to the touch. Im doubtful this will hold up for a length of time.

Doesn’t fit a quarter horse. because it is NOT smooth leather it is constitutionally dirty and it is hard to get clean. Searching for a better saddle

So I tried this saddle on my horse today and it has a very nice deep seat. It fit me and my horse like a glove. He tried to throw me today but I was able to stay in this saddle threw my boys fit lol.

Unfortunately my husband who bought the saddle for has not been able to use this saddle. It does seem well made and comfortable. The only thing I don’t care for is the stirrups need to be longer.
