This is an all-around great saddle for trail riding, it would probably work well for barrel racing or some thing as well. It’s very comfortable. I can carry it with one hand and it’s easy to get in and out of my trailer. It seems well-made and a great bargain. I use it all the time now instead of my big, heavy leather saddle. Incredible deal! Quality at a really affordable price. The fenders are heavy and offer quick change of length. The seat is rough out leather which gives a good grip to your seat. The stirrups are leather wrapped for safety and comfort. I added a casual tush cushion to the seat for a little more padding. i got this saddle as a temporary saddle until i found a good fit for us both, and ive had it almost a year i use it almost everyday and it still does amazing! its so light especially with my bad wrists. with a great deep seat you set in very well. my only down side on this is the seat is not padded but other then that i love this and still use it everyday, havent found a better one yet thats in the price range, definitely worth it! ... show more

I love how the seat feels. It’s deep and the suede adds grip which I like at my age. I’m 62. The stirrup adjustments are a little unusual but easy enough to adjust. I would have given it five stars but for the length and quality of the billets/cinches (what you hook and tie the girth to) They are too short and thin. The manufacturer should have made them better. I don’t know how long it will hold up but for an inexpensive saddle it is a great deal. The light weight is absolutely perfect for me as an older woman which is why I chose it. ... show more

We have two gaited horses, a quarter horse and a half draft horse. The saddle will only fit the draft horse. It is a very good looking saddle It is just too wide.
