I'm so happy we picked this one for my grandpa's funeral and burial. First of all, I was very pleased with the extra padding and detail placed in the shipping box to insure the safe delivery if the urn. I thought the quality of the wood and the etched design were beautiful. I have to say this urn is so much more beautiful in person than you can capture in a photo. Something I didn't pay attention to when we ordered this but that I appreciated later is the enclosure of the urn. This one doesn't come with a lid like a lot of them. Instead, there are screws that open and secure the bottom. They even include a little screwdriver (as shown in my photo) for the screws. There was also a velvet-feeling cloth bag to wrap around the urn for burial. This urn is beautiful. The crematorium was wanting an arm and a leg for one of theirs, I found this beautiful one and thought it would suit my dad perfectly! not too heavy. It seems pretty easy to open and close, it screws at the bottom.

My only complaint is there was no instructions on how to get it open. My only hint was a small screwdriver that was included. I noticed that the little rubber feet weren't screwed all the way on. Took me a little bit to decipher the puzzle and figure out I had to remove the feet with the provided screwdriver to open the box. Once I removed all four feet the bottom came off and I could put my dad in there. I wish it would have had some instructions with it it would have saved me some time.
