I bought the XL chair because my husband is 6’2” and a big guy. I thought the larger chair would be comfortable for him. We have only had it a couple months, and used it 5-6 times and the seam in the seat ripped. The 2nd seam in the seat is close to ripping as well. If this is inconsistent with the normal quality of their chairs, I am hoping the seller will see this review and offer to send us a replacement. We are very unhappy with this purchase. I did a lot of research before buying these chairs & have become very disappointed since they didn’t last more than 2 months, ugh! I will follow up if I here from the vendor and they attempt to make this defective purchase right! ... show more

    • Rivets sheer off

Chair is large and fairly comfortable while also being easily portable. The biggest issue with the chair is that instead of using bolts with nuts (which would have been much sturdier), rivets are used in some of the joints. The rivets in question have a habit of sheering off and then have to be replaced with either screws or bolts. Edit: Changing rating to 1 star after I found out that the latest rivet to break is the one that holds the legs together. I've only had this chair for about a year and multiple rivets have broken in that time. I only use the chair a few times a month and It should be noted that I am nowhere near as heavy as its stated weight capacity, so it is not that the chair is overloaded.     • GOOD CHAIR FOR THE BIG AND TALL!!

This is the 4th big and tall chair I have purchased in 2 years. So far it is my favorite. By the way I still have 2 other chairs that are usable. The one that bit the dust was a Coleman whose frame bent. All the chairs had a 400 to 500 lbs rating. I am 6'1" and 380 lbs, not that I should be but that's life. I like this chair because it is taller than the others so it's easier to get out of. I don't care for the lock button but it hasn't caused a problem so far. I use the chair for reading and having morning coffee outside. It sits fine on my driveway and lawn. The drink pockets are fine and 2 sizes fit many bottles or cans. I had it for over a month with every other day use and haven't had any problems with it. I'm giving it only 4 stars because the seat is kind of hard. The position is OK but after a while you can feel the front cross braces under your thighs. Not a major problem for me but if you are shorter it could affect you. I suppose you can add a seat cushion if you need it. I would give it another 1/2 star because it is available in a few colors which is rare. all in all I highly recommend this chair if you are big and tall. The other chairs I use are the ALPS King Kong and a big boy chair from the big"C" Outfitters. The ALPS review is on Amazon and I gave it 4 stars. The big boy rates about the same or 3 and a 1/2 stars. ... show more

Chair 2 of 2: We bought two of these chairs in May of 2019. My initial thoughts were, WOW! It was an amazing chair. It folded and unfolded easily, the seat itself was sturdy, not the type that dips in, so it made getting in and out easy. We used it camping a couple times and took them with us to a couple bbq's. We take care of our gear. Store them in the garage or shed, and away from the elements when not in use. Then 3-4 months of ownership (August 2019), one of the chairs decided not to open. It was jammed closed. Prying the two legs apart with two hands was impossible when you need a hand to press the unlock button. So I then had someone hold the button while I attempted to open the chair, but they just got in the way. Out of frustration I broke the locking mechanism off and forced the legs apart. I have no clue why this chair was acting up, maybe dirt got into the part that slides down the leg when I flipped it upside down for bagging. We only used it a hand full of times. I still have force open this chair most of the time today. And the second chair is now doing the same (January 2020). ... show more

Kijaro XXL Dual Lock Chair============Oh my gosh do I love this chair. I have problems with my back and hate how you always seem to sink into other folding chairs. This one is nice and comfortable and so easy to get out of. My mother-in-law who is 87 can even get out of it herself even with her arthritis. These were the most important selling points from the website: Super-sized Dual Lock folding chair with carry strap and bag Patented dual lock technology that locks in the open & closed position. Oversized seating with improved posture & seat support for comfort. I love the locking mechanism, I am never afraid of the chair folding in on me.
