Kijaro XXL Dual Lock Chair============Oh my gosh do I love this chair. I have problems with my back and hate how you always seem to sink into other folding chairs. This one is nice and comfortable and so easy to get out of. My mother-in-law who is 87 can even get out of it herself even with her arthritis. Oversized seating with improved posture & seat support for comfort. I love the locking mechanism, I am never afraid of the chair folding in on me.     • Big (I mean BIG), solid, sturdy chair.

I'm a pretty big guy, 5' 10" and 290, and I've been looking for a new lawn chair that can support my weight, and can travel with me to outdoor concerts and other events. My previous chair was an old-style lawn chair, metal tube legs and canvas mesh seat and back. It was light, easy to transport, and it lasted about 12 years before the canvas started coming apart last year. But they don't make that style any more, at least not in a heavy-duty model. So I did some looking around and settled on this model. It arrived earlier today and I've been sitting in it for about an hour and I find it very comfortable. It's a little higher off the ground than most chairs, and the seat is quite firm - it doesn't sag when you sit down. This makes it very easy to get up from the chair, which is a real perk for a 60 year old, overweight dude. The chair is fairly heavy, and quite big, but I had no problems getting it into and out of the bag. The locking mechanism works well so far, and there is a strap on the chair, so you may not even need the bag for transport. The chair also has cup holders on each arm, and there is small zippered pouch that hangs on the right side of the seat that could fit some combination of cell phone, keys, sunblock, bug spray, or whatever. A nice touch. Anyway, day 1 rating is 5 stars for sure, we'll see how it holds up over time, but I'm optimistic. ... show more

This chair exceeded my expectations. I was rather shocked at the size of shipping box, it was tall and so is the chair when closed. But too my suprise, at 5'7", my feet lie flat on the ground when seated. There is no sag and I don't have to ask for help to stand like I do with other chairs. I was so confident sitting down that I did not have to look back to guide my bum down. There was no wobble even when sitting on an incline nor did the chair sink into the soil. The locking feature adds security. The materials used are not cheap. This chair has more back support than my office chair and is well built. I'd recommend this chair for anyone with bad knees, tall or more than average girth. ... show more

Chair 2 of 2: We bought two of these chairs in May of 2019. My initial thoughts were, WOW! It was an amazing chair. It folded and unfolded easily, the seat itself was sturdy, not the type that dips in, so it made getting in and out easy. We used it camping a couple times and took them with us to a couple bbq's. We take care of our gear. Store them in the garage or shed, and away from the elements when not in use. Then 3-4 months of ownership (August 2019), one of the chairs decided not to open. It was jammed closed. Prying the two legs apart with two hands was impossible when you need a hand to press the unlock button. So I then had someone hold the button while I attempted to open the chair, but they just got in the way. Out of frustration I broke the locking mechanism off and forced the legs apart. I have no clue why this chair was acting up, maybe dirt got into the part that slides down the leg when I flipped it upside down for bagging. We only used it a hand full of times. I still have force open this chair most of the time today. And the second chair is now doing the same (January 2020). ... show more

How nice to have a chair that's easy to stand up from! I'm 6' 2", 240. Most chair's seats are too low for me, I have to push up and use my knees in ways they don't like any more. But with the XXL Kijaro, I just stand right up because the seat height is 19.5". Plenty of room to sit comfortably on the no-sag seat at 24" wide. The dual lock means I don't need to use the (very nice) bag to carry for short distances; the lock holds the frame together so I just need to grab any frame member or the strap and carry, no slop. I've been using it three times a week for two years now, no loosening, no popped rivets, no tears. Just a good solid comfortable chair. The drink holders are just right and the side pocket holds my iPhone XS Max easily. I do have to spend a good bit of time letting other people sit in it and telling them where I got it, the Kijaro does attract a lot of attention! But I don't mind spreading the good news. ... show more
