  • THE BEST Camping Chairs EVER Esp for big or tall people
Color: Maldives Blue
My sister got these for my parents almost a decade ago if not longer. After sitting on our porch all that time Thru all the elements and moisture Florida can throw at them plus a porch that floods everytime it rains. They just finally now started to rip a bit in the seat area. Not enough for my fat a$$ to bust Thru but enough that it was coming time to replace. These sit high and are so easy to get out of. They are comfortable and not slouchy like normal camping chairs. I love everything about them and they make fantastic beach and patio chairs. My dad was tall 6’1 and I’ve had very heavy people (at least 400lbs) sit in these chairs not a give or away about them. Just phenomenal durability for our house. I hope they never stop making these. ... show more

  • Worth it
Color: Hallett Peak Gray
This is the second identical chair I have bought. The first one I bought for myself 5 years ago. The legs are finally starting to bend from the usage, but that's not bad for 5 years worth. It is very solid and sturdy for plus size people. I can sit in it comfortably and the width is really really wide. My husband has very wide hips, and he can sit comfortably in this. It comes with a storage bag that will pretty easily fit the chair in it. It takes some wiggling, but it works fine. ... show more

  • Very sturdy and comfortable
Color: Cayman Blue Iguana
We are hefty folk and these chairs are awesome. A little heavy but it is because they are heavy duty. Extra wide you sink into and have plenty if space to move and shift. Very happy and secure knowing it is good quality.

  • Great for Big and Tall People, but needs to sit up more.
Color: Red Rock Canyon
I am 6'5", 255lbs. This chair has great height and width for a person my size. However, I do feel the back could be more upright, I feel like I am reclining to much in the chair, especially since the seat is not leaning back at all. I tend to put a pillow or rolled up jacket behind me to sit more upright when using this chair. ... show more

  • Great chair
Color: Maldives Blue
This was a Christmas present for my son. Let me say he was very surprised at the fact it didn't fold up on him & also holds his weight of 220 lbs. He says its the most comfortable chair ever made. Thank you

  • Huge chair
Color: Cayman Blue Iguana
A very sturdy chair, you don’t sink down into it. Easy to get up from. Has two cupholders. It is supposed to lock in place when you put it together and then when you fold it up. It’s not always easy to get it to lock. The less pressure you apply, the better. Heavy to carry a distance. I liked the ample leg room at the bottom edge of the seat, that’s why I got it, but it is almost too big for me to sit in it properly! I don’t get back far enough on the seat. I’ll use it for close to the car occasions or backyard gatherings. Nice color and made well except for the locks. ... show more

  • Okay it's great
Color: Hallett Peak Gray
Update after some months of occasional camping trips: I am entirely excited about this thing. It is very comfortable, and has held up well to the several camping trips I've taken it on. My only reservation is that at this price, I expect it to last several years, which I just can't know yet. And the similar structure chairs I had last (Coleman Max) all ended up braking way too soon for their price. The locking feature has grown on me. It's nice how it holds the chair solidly open, and it holds it closed well enough to be usable for carrying (although a bit of string would work better). The thing about my heels being off the ground while barefoot on a flat floor has been a complete non issue, and has probably contributed to being more comfortable. Also, this design is less prone to tipping backwards when you're facing uphill. Best of all, I can fit my girlfriend and my drum in my lap at the same time. I ordered a second one. Mostly because it packs down smaller than my director's chair. Initial impressions: I bought it because I've had several chairs that were structurally very similar from Coleman, which I loved for their comfortable back angle, but which all ended up tearing due to structural problems. So when I saw these, I got excited that somebody may have fixed those problems. But I don't think they did. I think the solution to that problem will be to make the fabric two pieces, like in a director's chair. Also, I'm real skeptical about the locking mechanism. Another annoyance about my similar Coleman Max chairs is that it doesn't take long to get dirt in the sliding mechanism, making them a pain to open. And those don't even have locks to get gunked up. And the Coleman ones had a nice strap and buckle to hold them together for carrying, which did a much better job of holding everything snugly than this locking mechanism does. Also, I'm 6'1", and my heels are half an inch off the ground in this. Which seems silly, but hasn't seemed like a problem yet. I buy beefy camping chairs because being able to support my girlfriend in my lap is important to me. The only thing I've found that I have real confidence in lasting is Timber Ridge Director's Chairs. But they are *way* more bulky folded up. ... show more
