I am very happy that I read a lot of reviews before buying this dress. I don't put stock in negative reviews as there are those who are never satisfied, so the best thing I read was about the fit of the dress to help me decide the size I'd choose. So I'm 5'5. 155 pounds, 36DD and a bit chubby in the middle. I got a Medium white with black diagonal stripes. This dress fits perfect off my right shoulder with the stripes going the right/correct way. It's loose fitting and the material is smooth and soft against the skin. It is a little boxy at the bottom hem, so tied two knots on one side at the split. This gives a beautiful look like points to the other side. Slits on both sides is really nice. The sleeve length I chose was 3/4 sleeve, which I like. I will buy this again in another color for 5 and one definitely short sleeve!! This can be worn out on the town, to a picnic, or just as a house dress and you don't mind if anyone drops by! So comfortable with forgiving material! Don't wait for a special occasion!! MUST have comfort and style!

No. The puctures don’t quite look like the item I got, but from looking at everyone else’s photos now, mine wasn’t a fluke. The dress has an odd pattern and it being off of one shoulder only pulls the other side right up to your neck. Also, the one shoulder look doesn’t really allow the garment to fall correctly...definitely not like it falls in the sale photos. The slots are on on the side of the dress and are due to the bottom of the dress having a “U” pattern. There’s no way to get that front slit unless you twist the dress around and secure it that way. For the photo I attached, I had my leg out the side. Speaking of side...this dress does NOTHING for a girl’s side view! I looked like I had a baby! No. Ma’am! For what it’s worth, I noticed that anyone who got the dress pattern with the HORIZONTAL stripes didn’t like it, but those who got the dress with the DIAGONAL stripes seem to love it. Seems like one is made better than the other. Unfortunately, you don’t get to choose which pattern you get. When I ordered, of course, I wanted the one in the photo with the diagonal stripes. Be warned, you may get a surprise. But the upside.... Because it’s kind of see through and the fabric feels good, I won’t toss it. I’ll just wear it as a swim cover up if I’m running somewhere after. I’m 5’9”, 175 lbs, and I generally wear a 10 in bottoms and a medium in tops. I got this in an XL because I wanted to make sure it had enough room to hang off the shoulder. ...it’s just such an odd and unflattering cut. Ugh.

I read the reviews and was torn, but why not get it when it’s so easy to return?? I really like the dress. I’m 5’5 and 155 and got a Medium and it fit as expected. I didn’t want a tight dress, so I have no complaints on the loose fit. It hung off the shoulder as shown. It was a little shorter than I expected… hitting a little above the floor in flats. But I wore it with pretty tall edges and liked it okay as a mid-length dress as well. Perfect for travel. I’d say try it if you’re on the fence!

I ordered a medium because that is my normal size. It fits and is comfortable and is a cute summer dress but it definitely does not fit as shown on model in pictures. It’s just kinda boxy and doesn’t hang loose and drapey like on the model. And I don’t think ordering up a size or two would make it look any better. I think a bigger size would just make it look baggy and it would still be boxy not drapy and cute like the model. Size reference, I’m 5’3”, 135lbs, athletic build.

First of all, I'm beginning to think a lot of reviews on Amazon are fake. I know I am a snob when it comes to material and I like my designer clothing, but the amount of positive reviews on this article of clothing is kind of surprising to say the least. The dress took over 2 mos. to get to me, which I was not happy about. If you're a petite woman like me, this dress is really big. The material looks good, but it's thin and way too big. I would call this disposable clothing like Forever 21 or H&M clothing. If you get a couple wears out of it then you got a deal. It looks good on, but too big if you're petite. Why did I give it 4 Stars.............the dress looks good on anyone, it is off the shoulder, & you can wear it as a cover-up if anything. I am not a fan of the material, how long it took to get to me. I don't know over hype in my opinion. I didn't want to be mean and give it 3 stars, because it's just a matter of opinion and everyone has different opinions.

This dress is effortlessly cute. The material is a little different than I was expecting, stretchy and breathable though which is great for summer. It can be worn off either/both shoulders. I like that the stripes are diagonal which adds to the look when worn off the shoulder. It can appear “boxy” if not worn off the shoulder as it has extra fabric but it is necessary for the off the shoulder look. I am about 5’2” and 130 pounds. I ordered a small and it does not cling anywhere that it shouldn’t. The length is right at my ankle. Very happy with my purchase!

Do you mean issues on this garment…1) Length was great, but if you are looking for it to be off shoulder and bigger on you for your size the way it looks on the picture, be prepared for disappointment. Don’t get me wrong the garment fits, though it is smaller than I expected it to be. I was disappointed to find that through the hips to the ankles it was narrower than I thought it would be. 2) The material is not breathable. For a garment that you plan to wear at the beach that is also disappointing. It’s strong material but a bit too thick for my liking. If you are looking for something keep a bit of chill off after getting out of the water, this will help you. If you were looking for something light to basically keep off the sun, Not so much.
