Wonderful for 4 year old granddaughter. It is easy to carry when put together. Stickers are a tough job to figure out but got it done. She loved the trucks and didn't want to put them in the carrier. She wanted to hold them when leaving for home as she liked them so very much. Travel case format is a great idea except for the tracks as they are too large to put in the carrier case. Granddaughter loved the emergency station in an overall critique of the product.

So this toy looks very cool. It was relatively easy to assemble and average quality. The ability to fold it up seemed like a great feature for travel and storage. Unfortunately the reality of this toy is not so great. My kids can't fold it up or set it up without help (ages 8, 7, 3). The walkie talkie doesn't work that well. And the cars don't launch through the garage doors with enough force or momentum to get all the way through. While the main part of the toy is kind of disappointing, I would like to say that the quality and design of the road signs is actually very impressive. If they were sold separately, I'd buy more. The signs have silicone like posts that the plastic signs attach to. With other sets like this the signs have always been quick to break. These ones are durable because of that silicone peice. Not a single peice has broken. The cars, trucks and helicopter are also pretty good quality too. As a whole this toy, in my opinion, is not a good value and poorly was executed.

I ordered this as a gift for my grandson's 4th birthday, and it was a big hit! He and his brother love all things first responder, and they love having an entire city dedicated to just those functions. It did take a while to assemble and place all the stickers (not difficult, but time-consuming!)--not something a small child could do on their own (at least not my 2-4 yr. grandsons). But, it looks great once it's all finished! It is pretty large once fully assembled--approximately 2-ft long! It's plastic but has held up well so far. The boys use the cars that come with it and also other match-box-sized vehicles. It's a great toy for kids who love fireman and police play time!

I spent an hour preparing this police/fire station to get it ready to give as a gift! You have to do some assembly and apply a lot of stickers. Not out of box ready to play with!!
