I don't know if I'll ever truly be able to describe just how much fun these are for little kids. You might as well just take my word for it and get one of these and let your mind be blown when you see the delight that comes to your child's face as they spin around so many times that it makes you start feeling sick. This is one of the best purchases we have ever made. For reference, my kids are two five and seven and all three of them get a ton of use out of this. We actually have two of them, two of these spinny things, because they are such a head. They do take up a little bit of floor space which is kind of obnoxious but they get used so often that I feel like it's forgivable that you can't really pack them away easily. When we're not using ours we try to get it underneath the coffee table so at least nobody's tripping over it but I'm not kidding when I say that the kids use it every single day at this point. My two year old has perfected this spinner. It can spin pretty fast being that its based on how your body weigh is shifted i guess. My child spins un this until she is beyond dizzy but still able to hold on. I've only experienced one incident with it tipping (that's when i tried it), but for children it appears to be pretty fun and safe. . Got this for my 9 year-old son with ADHD, and then got another for my other 8 year-old son. These are easy to assemble; just screw the saucer to the base. Not sure if these are intended for older kids like my boys, but they both sit in them and spin while they watch TV or play on their tablets, and sometimes even just for fun. The boys still fit on them fine. Not a fan of the fish shape, but I think it helps them 'fit' kids longer, since the fin extends the size. They are sturdy. My kids have spun a little too fast at times and complained that they wanted to puke, but it doesn't stop them. Lol. These chairs are fantastic as an outlet for the nervous energy the kids have. I got this for my little one. It said it could help with balance and improve physical coordination and I was all for it. My little one is 14 months, so this chair is something she will be able to use now and well into her future.

    • My kid absolutely loves it.
I'm not sure what the significance is of this chair and ADHD or Autism, so I can't comment on that aspect. However, my kid loves the thing I put it together but there were no instructions. Not a big deal, anyone can do it, it's just common sense. The chair seems very sturdy but I didn't see a listed maximum weigh anywhere, so just wanted to make sure it was safe and emailed the company to ask what maximum recommended weight would be and they answered very quickly that it is 180 pounds. My kid so far loves to just spin on it, but has settled down a bit and has started enjoying just like spinning or wobbling I guess. She enjoys it a lot, but the metal base is something to keep an eye on. My kid is almost 4 and I think it's appropriate under supervision, but I do worry about her falling off and hurting herself on the metal base. Overall good chair. ... show more
