My 8YO daughter chose this color herself. She’s a beginner at skating, we only let her skate on the wooden floor in our home activity room and she’s had three introductory lessons so far. These skates are of great quality and a bit heavy. The outer plastic part can be adjusted with the included tool, and the inner soft part can also expand. She usually wears a size 2.5, I bought her a size M and these fit her well. After I showed her a few times how to put them on and take them off, she can now do it by herself. The wheels roll smoothly. They have LED lights that flash while skating, which my daughter loves. I'm also satisfied with them.

This skate is definitely NOT for anyone who has advanced skills or even beginner+ type familiarity. The wheels are not greased up bearings that you use when you want to cause high speed freckles abandon. That would terrify most kids if they lived through that ordeal and likely never skate again. Enter this skate. Wether it was intentionally designed to purposefully hug wheel and the spoke system so tight, they are not able to work really well. This causes (intentional or not) a resistance and of course, that means it does not glide and your child will not be whisked away and lose control and crash. There's a light show element to it that I thinks sells kids on it every time over the unremarkable speed. The lights are cool. But this is also not the first to have a weight bearing rave at this toe tips. Outer shell of the skate boot will last you through a nuclear war - So if your kiddo is extremely destructive, an inexperienced dare devil and/or just clumsy in general, these boots are for you.

These kids rollerskates are very easy for my daughter to take off herself and put on all by herself. They are made well with durable materials. The wheels seem to glide smoothly across the floor and the buckle stay secure and are easy to secure into place I like the adjustability of size allowing them to grow with your child as they grow.

Truly a great set of adjustable skates that are comfortable and provide confidence in their quality and design. Much like many similar skates we've recently found, and similarly-priced too! So they hold my solid 4 star recommendation, but since so-similar (which IS complimentary, for sure!), I would only suggest they are a 5-star "must buy" if pricing were around $27 or so--to beat out the others. We're grateful, and our kiddos really like this look, feel, and function with this great set of quads!
