Very cute and well made smock. I got it for my 2 year old grandson when he does his crafts. It has a velcro closure in the back so you can adjust it if the child is small. It will last for long time because it seems it will fit a child up to 4-5 years. He also likes to wear it when he helps his mother making his breakfast. I LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! It is long enough to cover the legs for the 3-year-old while sitting. I use it as bibs (not for painting!). I purchased two animal theme ones, my twins so in love with it. there is velcro at the back. I ordered large size so it lasts me for many years ;); however, it is a bit big on my three-year-olds. If you want a snugger fit on top, get a smaller size. my kids are tiny and I should have ordered a smaller size and it would still last me couple more years but with the larger size, it seems indefinite use b/c these are very durable and good quality.
