This is the second makeup set I’ve tried from this brand, and probably my favorite out of the two. While the mascara or lip gloss formula is not my favorite, I feel like the eyeshadows are where it really shines, and this one has a lot of those. The mattes are sheer but still very soft and blend well, which is ideal for either younger makeup lovers or adults like myself who prefer a very subtle eye look on a daily basis. The shimmers are extremely sparkly but not chunky, so you don’t have to worry about glitter fallout or particles irritating your eyes. And everything is nontoxic and cruelty free, which is also a bonus, especif you are buying this as a gift for a teen. The blushes and lip glosses are nice as well, and I am also pleased that it included a very cool toned contour color, which is something I rarely see, especially in a makeup kit like this. As with the other set I ordered from this brand, my only complaint is that, for the price, it could have easily come with a couple eyeliners as well. But it isn’t a big problem, as most people probably already have pencil or liquid eyeliners, and some of the darker eyeshadows are pigmented enough to be used as liners with a damp brush.
