This kids garden tool set is awesome - immediate hit with my newly 3 YO. My son hates mittens, but loves these garden gloves, even though they are way too big. The gloves are great quality, grippy palms. Very similar to my adult set. I love the variety of tools, and it gets my toddler son outside helping with the yard work. I was a Little disappointed that the wood is unfinished, which means I don't think it will hold up very long after it gets wet. But, I believe that's a design flaw in that unfinished wood is less slippery in little hands. My other complaint is the Spade shovel is too flat and the dirt slides off and doesn't hold much, this is worth knocking off a half star so I'd really give this a 4.5 star if I could. Another possibly unintentional design feature, is that the top and bottom unscrew into two pieces. So, you could remove the top wooden handle, and the green screw attachment, and just use the bottom part on its own. So you could use these at the beach or anywhere else as handheld tools.
