If your child likes building fortresses, I recommend this! My children like building fortresses and always cover the chairs with blankets.

So I’ve been making forts since I was a kid, and now that I’m a mom I make forts for my little kids. I don’t need a kit like this to make a great fort, but it sure is convenient and pretty easy (for myself). My children are preschool and elementary ages, and they cannot build a fort with this kit by themselves. They can connect the sticks to the balls however. I think older children would be able to assemble a fort with this relatively easily. Is it sturdy? Yes and no. It can handle lightweight blankets and bedsheets on the structure. Bedsheets are best. We like using clothespins to help, but they aren’t necessary. It cannot handle the kids pulling or hanging on the structure/fort, and it’s all plastic so the sticks can’t be bent. Don’t let the littles put anything in the holes of the balls either. (Play-doh, no no!). Easy to disassemble also. So far at least one adult can fit in the fort with one or two children at one time, depending on size of adult and the sizes of the kids. That also depends on which style fort you build. We love it! Have fun!!

This product is easier to use and has the flexibility to make many different designs. I love that my kids can do this themselves and that there are plenty of pieces. I plan on buying this for every birthday party my kids are invited to.
