  • Check pieces before building
My husband and I had chosen to get this for our sons 3rd birthday. We ordered it on December 31st because his birthday was Jan 6. We have prime and it told us that it would arrive on Jan 6. It didn’t arrive until Jan 9th. So he wasn’t able to open his present on his birthday on the 7th which isn’t a biggie he had gifts from others but just something I wish we would’ve been informed from the beginning. Anyhow, he absolutely loved the gift and we excitedly began to take it out from the box. But it didn’t have the screws so we had to send it back for a replacement. The replacement came in 2 days which was awesome. We unbox our new space ship only to find that one of the wooden legs for the top of the ship was cracked in half. Maybe during transition? The packaging was a bit minimal. My son was so ready to play with this gift we decided to not send it back and we super glued it together. So just be sure you check all your pieces before you put it together :) Overall we are very happy with our purchase! It’s adorable. I wish they put a man and a woman since ya know their are women astronauts :P my son was the one who mentioned it but I just tell him that the blonde one is a woman. The details on the ship are great. I honestly only have one complaint and that’s just to check the pieces. Other than that it was worth all the trouble it’s a great edition to our playroom. ... show more

  • Scrapped and Wobbly
Pros: Tall, Colorful, plenty of figures Cons: 45 minutes to assemble, the paint is scrapped off in several places. Almost making it look used. Even with the pieces screwed in place, it is still wobbly when played with.

  • Great for toddlers
This toy was actually fun to put together with my husband. The instructions are simple and our babe got to play with it shortly after. It’s very sturdy. The only thing I wish worked better was the width of the stairs. Some of the pieces don’t fit when he’s playing with the astronauts to go up and down the stairs. Other than that, it’s a great addition to our playroom. ... show more

  • Nice play piece
I like this thing because it has enough details that the kids like it but is enough of a blank slate that it encourages imaginative play. My daughter will play with it for a few minutes then pull in characters from other play sets. It seems solid enough and well thought out. It won’t last forever but plenty of life to outlast the kids younger years. ... show more

  • A creative large rocket that allows kids to play in its interior space
My 3-year-old grandson loves playing with this large rocket ship. It is really fun that this product allows him to experience the interior portions of the rocket ship. He can maneuver the astronauts about the multi-tiered rocket. This toy allows for wonderful imaginative play! Highly recommend!

  • 5 year old plays with this
Great for a 5 year old. A bit of a pain to put together. Waiting for a missing piece to come in the mail

  • Lots of fun
I gave this to my son for Christmas. I was worried after reading the other reviews and so I allowed a lot of time to read the instructions and put it together. You have to be careful because a number of the pieces have a right and wrong orientation and this is sometimes had to tell from the instructions and details of the pieces. I used a hand screwdriver rather than a drill, I think it would be possible to pierce the wood if you use a drill. It is a really awesome toy, and my space-crazy son loves it! So far it has been very sturdy and it is being played with a lot, although he does like to pull on the crane, rather than roll and unroll it. ... show more

  • Its ok
Easy to assemble. But board can easily break. Top cap does not stay on.
