I think I get more excited about this fairy than my 6yr old grandchild. When this thing is fully charged, it takes off like a jet. You have to be careful because it will flick you really hard if it comes close to you or if it's grabbed the wrong way. I think it has potential to be destructive, so keep it away from your TV screens and glassware. One of the wings has already come off because it hit things so hard. And by all means, please don't have near babies. But it is exciting to watch and really really fun!

I bought this doll, because of the low price, the novelty of the item, and out of curiosity to see, if the bad reviews were valid criticisms. The doll works as expected, if you use her properly. As others have stated, never take her outside. She should only be used with adult supervision until the child has enough experience with her to fly her properly. I have only used her inside, and the first couple of times she kept flying straight up to the ceiling with no indication she would come down. After a couple more times, I realized she has to be launched on her platform to fly properly. Her crystal egg seems to be designed to calibrate her sensors, so she only flies properly when launched from it. Grabbing her legs while she's flying is a little tricky, but a child should be able to do it easily after a while. She cannot hurt you with her wings, but to turn her off does require forcibly stopping her from spinning in order to switch her off. Aside from that, the doll is quite fun to play with. If she is tilted significantly, she will fly toward a wall quickly, but so far she seems very durable, because she has not been damaged ever when hitting a wall. She does shut off, if she hits a wall hard, so if a child is having trouble catching her, then she should stop flying, if she bumps too many things, or at least when her battery dies. Also, I would advise being careful with a child who has long hair. Others have stated the toy got caught in their hair, and while unlikely, I can certainly see how it's possible. Holding her sideways she spins faster than one of those water bottles with a fan on top, so be mindful of that.

This Hatchimal Glider is pretty awesome 😍 my 6 year old loves it! It came well packed and worked right out the box, just needed a small charge to fully do its thing. The base of the egg is comes in is a charging base and it has the little USB cord included, port style charger. We got the fairy to fly/hover about 7-8 ft in the air. It maintains a solid hover when it's not zooming about with the kiddo then gently sets itself down. It bounced off my TV and didn't break or harm either of them, so it is durable. Pretty sweet I was well entertained also would totally recommend for any kiddo into the hatchimals stuff

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made at your store. Last week, I bought a Crystal Flyers doll for my daughter during my travels. The purpose was to surprise her with a special gift upon my return to Brazil. Regrettably, the experience has been far from what I expected. The doll, when placed in our living room to fly, consistently lasts no more than 2 minutes before colliding with the wall and crashing to the floor, causing distress among the children. Shockingly, during one of these falls, one of the wings detached, rendering the doll incapable of flying after just the first use. To summarize, the toy did not even last a day. This incident has left me deeply dissatisfied with the quality of the product, especially considering the significant investment involved. I am reaching out to request a refund for the Crystal Flyers doll as it has failed to meet the expected standards of durability and functionality. I kindly ask for your prompt attention to this matter, as I believe it is crucial to address customer concerns promptly and efficiently. My 6yr old great-granddaughter was in love with this cute little fairy. She asked for it at Christmas and her Gigi bought it for her. It was easy to charge up and seemed well made BUT…we got in the living room and it was scary! It took off! It flew into the ceilings, the walls and almost clipped their new glass windowed cabinet. We decided not to fly it in the house. We went outside in the front yard. It was obvious it had plenty of power so we were careful to keep it away from the front of the house but it still took off and flew right into the brick wall. Her wing was knocked off but we were able to reconnect it. At this point we quit. The next day we went to my house and went out into the pasture. Lots of room no chance of damage well at least we thought so. My great-granddaughter launched it off her hand and it took off! I mean it shot straight up in the air and took off across the pasture gaining height and speed as it went. I’m running she’s running it was horrible! It got so high and so far away it made it to the woods at least a football field away and so high we lost sight of it completely! I lie not she was out of sight! My sweet great grand was crying and I was crying. It sounds so funny but it wasn't! She had said to me “Mimi what if it flies away” and I said “oh honey it cant possibly do that”. Well I was wrong! We roamed all over the property. We never found it. So, I bought another one and it just sits in her room in its house because we’re both to scared to fly it. I gave a 3 star because there should have been a warning how high and far it might fly. If the battery hasn’t run out of charge that thing is still flying somewhere over our city.
