I spent a lot of time looking for a wood doll house for my 3 year old daughter. This one is perfect. Easy assembly. Large. Does take up some space. But it is on wheels and you can move it around easily. She loves it! I like that it is all open. Accommodates Barbies easily. Would buy again!

Let me start off by saying that this sucker is solid. I actually opened the box to carry the pieces up separately to build on the second story of my house. The instructions are pictures and very easy to understand. It took me and another adult a little less than an hour to assemble the house and all of the furniture. I have twin (about to be three) girls that instantly fell in love. In fact, they didn't even really want to open any of the other presents. I went through comments before buying this and I do agree that there’s some minor damage but it’s not like my 4 year old is going to refuse the doll house for a couple chipped colors that you’ll barely notice. Love that the furniture is work and not cheep plastic. Regular Barbie’s fit great. Definitely make sure you have room for it because it’s huge. I love this brand and the quality of it. I didn’t want to spend $200 on a plastic Barbie house but I knew she wanted a doll house and this one is perfect. There were complaints about direction and to me it was pretty simple. I normally don't give reviews but this dollhouse is AMAZING!! If your reading this review chanc8are you're looking for a good dollhouse to purchase and you're spending alot of time looking for the best one. This is it, look no further! I actually bought this for my 7 year old son for his "guys", action figures. I bought this one because it seemed to be the most versatile for girls and boys. It is absolutely perfect, very sturdy, easy to assemble, and beautiful. It's all wood, has wheels on the bottom which make it really nice for moving it around, and it's all open so it's easy to play with and great for 2 or more children to play with at the same time. It comes with a lot of really nice wooden furniture. I will be buying another one for my grandson. L.O.V.I.N.G. this dollhouse! My daughter is 6 and has been asking for a Barbie house for the last year or so. Looking at the options left me wanting, and yeah yeah yeah, it’s *her* Barbie house, but still. I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that kind of $ on something that A) I knew wouldn’t withstand the test of time and B) Just flat out LOOKED so cheap. I moved on from Mattel and started looking elsewhere almost immediately. There were several KidKraft houses I kept coming back to, but this one stood out mainly because the look of the house (MCM and open) we could roll it away, and being 4 sides, it gives her and her friends options to play together but have space to carry out their own storyline. No one wants to listen to kids fighting over dollhouse real estate, lol. So, cute? Check! Stored easily? Check. Big enough? Big check. Putting the house together was very easy, and took about an hour from opening to finishing decorating. I had help, but could have easily done it by myself. The floor panels are already installed, so when you take it out of the box, the main frame of the house and the floors just unfold like a camping chair. From there, it’s a matter of adding in the “stabilizing” pieces, the walls (just popped in), and the roof. Everything is marked (even the outside of each box of parts lists what’s inside) and there are pictures in the instructions, so it’s pretty much fool proof. The decor that comes with this house is so cute, too. I squealed as I opened each piece. The fridge! The plants! The media console! It’s perfectly sized for Barbie dolls, but just way better quality/design. The overall quality of this house is exactly what I was hoping for. Should a little kid lean on it during playtime, it’s going to be just fine. I do not doubt that this will hold up throughout the years. And when she outgrows playing with dolls, this is something that can be taken down with ease and stored flat in the back of a closet until the next generation of bambinos comes along. My only complaint, and it is small, is that the only plastic part of the house itself, the stairs, are a little warped. I was mildly horrified when I initially put them together, but attaching them to the house straightened them out quite a bit. I would say that the steps are really the only thing that needs improving. Despite that, I’d still rate it at 5 stars and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a Barbie house with more character and durability. ... show more

All of the boxes had pictures of what was packed inside. The pictures made it clear which sides were being installed. In all my years, this was by far the easiest assembly I've had when it comes to putting furniture or toys together. It's a great size and the accessories are also very large. I was expecting them to be smaller, but the accessories are definitely made for taller Barbie sized dolls. ... show more
