  • Very cute and fun!
Color: Natural
Very cute and sturdier than I thought. I bought the cover also, because we have a lot of storms. My daughter loves it. It can be frustrating to build, but it’s important to organize everything beforehand, read it through once, and then tackle it. (I’ve built several). It takes 2 people to fully put it all together. I built mine in sections, and then framed it together. A few extra corner brackets from a home store wouldn’t hurt. ... show more

  • Perfect Gift for Granddaughter!
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. This house is absolutely adorable. It took about 8 hours to assemble and 5 hours to paint and decorate. Since it only comes primed, I recommend painting it with exterior paint. It took half a gallon of each color for two coats, although to be on the safe side (since this will be an outdoor house), I think I’ll do a third coat. The instructions estimated 8 hours for assembly, which I scoffed at since I consider myself pretty handy, but it was right on. It took an hour just to inventory and lay out all the pieces. If you have patience, take your time, and follow the instructions carefully - look at it as a two day project instead of trying to do it all in one shot. It was well worth the effort. ... show more

  • Buy your own screws.
Color: Natural
It's sturdy with modifications. I used my own 1" screws with a star head, for two reasons. 1. I hate Philips screws, 2. The screws included kept breaking. The way that the roof was attached was ridiculous (6 hinges with 4 itty bitty little screws each) so I climbed up on top and used real screws and my own hurricane ties to hold it down. Wood was nice and I added my own materials and variations to use for a chicken coop. ... show more

  • Five hours to put together, all the kids love
Color: Natural
Everyone saying this took 8 hours to assemble had me worried but I did it by myself in about 5 including unboxing. I used a drill so not sure if some people attempted it without one? The wood is obviously not the greatest quality but it’s what I expected. We will see how it holds up but mine and every kid that comes over loves it. ... show more

  • Extra instructions in this post:
Color: Natural
Updated review: After 5 months, this playhouse is junk. I am extremely disappointed by how quickly it has deteriorated. The wood is splitting and the door which has particle board is rotting. Here are the pre-installation instructions they dont give you (authored by me): 1. Make sure to have wood glue handy. Several pieces were damaged in shipping. 2. Pay attention to screws I and M. They look nearly identical but are not...They are right next to each other too. We ended up being able to use the extra screws to finish without having to take a trip to Lowes. 3. Pine smell is strong when you open the box. If you have minor pine tree allergies, consider wearing gloves. 4. Some of the instructions are wrong! I can't remember the piece number (maybe 24??), but it is different than the picture. You'll be able to tell when you get to this step. It's a minor annoyance because you don't have the guides on the back to help you. 5. When lining up the door, make sure it is aligned at the top (not the bottom). If you align it at the bottom, the door won't open and close properly. 6. Spend the extra time and sort the pieces BEFORE you get started. They are in order 1-60. Some pieces are missing the stickers, which makes a fun puzzle... It took us, a wife and husband duo, about 4 hours to put together with kids hanging off our sides for most of the project. We weren't going for speed, so it could have been done faster. Have fun! ... show more

  • Product as pictured
Color: Natural
Decent enough build, took about 4 to 5 hours by myself to complete not including inventory time, what sucked the most is the first couple of walls and the roof is horrible, it's a solid roof when it's on there no doubt but putting it up is definitely a two man job, it is very filmsy at its connecting joints (it's three separate pieces connect by two 2x4's) some important pieces were warped or cracked and 1 hole for the roof was not drilled out, had to drill it myself along with two other holes not properly spaced at the door area, I'm 6'2 so this house is a good size since I was able to get in and out of it with relative ease which you'll need to do to secure the roof..once the bolts were secured the warps didn't matter too much unless you're a snob about perfect seals all the way around this is a great purchase, no floor piece so if it's outside in dirt I suggest foam tiles, faux grass, or a carpet for your kids feet.. a good wood seal is a must the wood on the bench feels a bit coarse and as i said before some pieces came cracked. ... show more

  • Exactly As Pictured
Color: Natural
Box was delivered in good condition and we had zero broken pieces after I unboxed everything so that was awesome. It took me 5 ish hours to put together by myself. The only part I got help with was putting the roof on because the braces used to attach the roof panels together is kind of flimsy and the panels will come apart of you aren't careful when you lift it. I found out the hard way but luckily nothing broke when one of the panels came off when I was trying to put the roof on myself. All of the parts are labeled so that helps a lot know where everything goes. The biggest advice I'd give is to pay close to the orientation of the panels in the instructions and keep a close eye on where all the holes should be. I messed up twice and had to go back and take something apart to flip it around so the holes lined up right. Besides that it's a pretty easy and straightforward thing to put together, it's just time consuming, but the kids love it! ... show more
