  • Best Backyard Upgrade Ever – Endless Fun for the Kids and a PERFECT alternative to screen time! 🎉
This playhouse has quickly become the star of our backyard! My kids absolutely adore it—they’re constantly cooking up pretend meals, playing house, and even running their own little “drive-thru” out the window. The attached picnic table is genius; they love serving up their creations and sitting down together to “eat.” The little touches like the curtains, mailbox, real swinging door, and cute windows make it feel magical and realistic, and it’s sturdy enough to handle hours of wild play. Assembly wasn’t bad at all, and once it was up, it looked so cute sitting in our yard. What I love most is how much imagination it sparks. My kids spend more time outside now, laughing, pretending, and making memories. If you’re looking for something that’s fun, durable, and totally worth it, this playhouse is it. Hands down one of our favorite purchases! ... show more

  • Cute little playhouse
We love this little house! The natural wood finish matches our deck and it is just the right size for my little ones. It took my 5 year old and myself 2 sessions/days of 2-3 hours each to build it. I am well versed in building from pictures thanks to putting my entire apt together from ikea, so if you can follow Ikea instructions, this will be a breeze. If I didn’t have Covid and my 5 year old hadn’t demanded to help me, I probably could have built it quicker. Some of the wooden pieces weren’t labeled, so I had to take a guess at some of the building steps, but I always guessed correctly. The door and it’s hinges were the most frustrating, time consuming thing to put together. While building, some of the pieces seemed pretty wobbly, but once the roof was secured it seems sturdy enough. A couple wood pieces were chipped or warped, but not so much that it is very noticeable. I live in a very foggy neighborhood, near the beach, so we tarp it every night to protect it. I will post an update if anything changes. Not pictured because they haven’t been delivered yet are all the accessories we got to add on - little numbers to make an address, AstroTurf, outdoor carpeting, welcome mat, and lights! TLDR: single mom can built it, so you can too. Kids love it! Accessorize it to make it yours. ... show more

  • Exactly As Pictured
Box was delivered in good condition and we had zero broken pieces after I unboxed everything so that was awesome. It took me 5 ish hours to put together by myself. The only part I got help with was putting the roof on because the braces used to attach the roof panels together is kind of flimsy and the panels will come apart of you aren't careful when you lift it. I found out the hard way but luckily nothing broke when one of the panels came off when I was trying to put the roof on myself. All of the parts are labeled so that helps a lot know where everything goes. The biggest advice I'd give is to pay close to the orientation of the panels in the instructions and keep a close eye on where all the holes should be. I messed up twice and had to go back and take something apart to flip it around so the holes lined up right. Besides that it's a pretty easy and straightforward thing to put together, it's just time consuming, but the kids love it! ... show more

  • Nice design, easy assembly, terrible quality control.
Pros: I love the look and design of this little play house. The assembly is super easy, a chimp who can turn a screw driver should be able to put this together in an afternoon. Made from real wood, no mdf or other junk. Con: Really cheap hardware. I have had the playhouse for about a month. My daughter isn't even two years old, so her play is very gentle at this point; meaning I know she didn't break these screws. They all snapped at various "stress points" on the house. There are some joints, particularly corners, where a single screw is taking on a bit more stress than necessary. This is due to short pieces being butted up, presumably to fit in the flat pack box. My advice, take inventory of the hardware included, and go buy some quality screws of the same size before assembly. The included screws are garbage. ... show more

  • Extra instructions in this post:
Updated review: After 5 months, this playhouse is junk. I am extremely disappointed by how quickly it has deteriorated. The wood is splitting and the door which has particle board is rotting. Here are the pre-installation instructions they dont give you (authored by me): 1. Make sure to have wood glue handy. Several pieces were damaged in shipping. 2. Pay attention to screws I and M. They look nearly identical but are not...They are right next to each other too. We ended up being able to use the extra screws to finish without having to take a trip to Lowes. 3. Pine smell is strong when you open the box. If you have minor pine tree allergies, consider wearing gloves. 4. Some of the instructions are wrong! I can't remember the piece number (maybe 24??), but it is different than the picture. You'll be able to tell when you get to this step. It's a minor annoyance because you don't have the guides on the back to help you. 5. When lining up the door, make sure it is aligned at the top (not the bottom). If you align it at the bottom, the door won't open and close properly. 6. Spend the extra time and sort the pieces BEFORE you get started. They are in order 1-60. Some pieces are missing the stickers, which makes a fun puzzle... It took us, a wife and husband duo, about 4 hours to put together with kids hanging off our sides for most of the project. We weren't going for speed, so it could have been done faster. Have fun! ... show more

  • Perfect little house
This was easy to put together, my children love it and have a great time inside. It comes with a cover that you have to pay like 50 bucks for, I don't know if there's a different way to go around it. I wish it had shutters or something so that way you could close the windows so water wouldn't get in, water fills up in the little place sink and you have to take it out in order to dump it. Otherwise it was a really good product ... show more
