Molded from lightweight aluminum and fitted with a simple-to-read pressure indicator, the durable valve assembly is designed for years of service. The strap bracket lets you mount the extinguisher in an easily accessible place so it’s always ready for an emergency. The easy-to-pull safety pin gives you quick access and an ergonomic, rust and impact-resistant steel handle provides a comfortable grip. Contains 2.5 lbs. of monoammonium phosphate fire-extinguishing agent. Note that the dry chemical agent in this fire extinguisher is non-toxic but may cause skin irritation. Place a fire extinguisher within easy reach and on every level of your home where fires are more likely to start. Residential, single use only. Dispose & replace if used, discharged, or if the fire extinguisher is over 12 years old. UL Listed. 6-year limited manufacturer's warranty.

Okay.....so how do you really review an exinguisher without pulling the pin and trying it out - which makes it no good and in need of replacement?? I can only say that everyone knows this brand to be reputable. I like that it came in a two pack since we moved into a new home and needed an extinguisher on each level. The thing I don't like about these is the hardness and difficulty of wrapping the strap around it once it is hung. I have arthritic hands so I didn't even try to hang these for fear of not being able to unhook the extremely tight band IF there was a fire. The units are small enough to fit under the kitchen sink - making it easily accessible and they aren't super heavy which is good for us seniors. ... show more

Seems like a good value for a two-pack. Haven't had to actually use them yet, though, so can't really give them 5 stars. Hopefully I won't need them, but if I do, hopefully they'll do the job! One minor nit-pick, the ring that needs to be removed to use them is really loose. If you tilt the extinguisher slightly to the side, such that the ring is tilted down, it will just fall out. ... show more

We have never had fire extinguishers before. Last month we had a small fire though that we couldnt get water to fast enough and it turned into extensive damage that a fire extinguisher could of easily put out before basically any real damage had happened. Live and learn I guess and we got off easy as all of us were awake. So many others haven't made it out alive because the same situation during their sleep. We immediately went looking for fire extinguishers and this led us to Amazon. These seem to be great quality and we ordered two for hanging up in case of anymore fires and we are ordering two more to have the kids use on the burn pit so they know how to use them if they ever need to. The quality seems really nice and both of them are showing full. The tamper seals are also intact on both too. They came with brackets which was really nice so that we could hang them in convient places in the house. I'm very happy with the purchase and peace of mind I have knowing my kids have another line of defense in case we ever have another fire. I'll be updating this review with a video as soon as we grab two more for the practice. Don't wait until you need these like we did.
