Don’t hesitate to purchase this. I was going to order rolls of cable and make my own, but this ended up being cheaper. Automotive amp wiring kits don’t work for boats. The reason is simple: marine applications require a ground cable all the way back to the battery. Modern boat manufacturers use yellow cable for ground. Also really liked the fuse terminal that bolts directly to the battery, unlike the cheap bullet style automotive variety. Easily reached the stern of my 21’ Cobalt from the front storage compartment. Only wish was that the cables had ferrules on the bare end. 4 AWG is probably overkill for my application but would rather be safe than sorry! My next phase of this project will be to add bus bars along with a fuse box for house battery accessories. ... show more
