It’s extremely useful and easy to use. I covered it with contact paper so it matched my office decor, but it looks great even without being covered. If you use the provided adhesive, I recommend making sure you put it exactly where you want it and not moving it. The adhesive is very strong (but truly doesn’t leave a mark). I attempted to take it off my door to move it slightly, but while trying to take it off my door, the back of the sign cracked. I was able to put it back up though after carefully pressing the magnets back in and using the other adhesive provided. It still works perfectly and isn’t noticeable. It grabs everyone’s attention thanks to the bright colors. If you’re thinking about purchasing it, I’d recommend you go ahead and make the purchase. ... show more

I work from home, and if you do too you may also encounter this odd scenario: merely closing the door to one’s office is not actually a reliable method to let others know you are working. I can’t say enough good things about this sign. It is a far better design and quality than expected at this price point. The sign is very simple to apply, the adhesive backing is sturdy and keeps it in place even on the faux wood texture of my builder grade hollow core door (sad face, but with all the house projects, updating the interior doors does not even earn a place on the to-do list.) The sign is a dial-style, and really sturdy. The dial even has a click in place feature, to prevent your status from accidentally moving when the door swings shut. Gone are the days of people thinking you’re available when you’re not! Well, at least you have forewarned them! My office door is white, I had hoped there would be an option for a white sign, however this silver is fairly light in color, and not a shiny silver, so it takes on the appearance of white when on a white background. I suspect if it was on a different color with more contrast it would be more apparent the color is silver. I am extremely happy with the sign, and can recommend it to anyone who might need a little extra assistance in deterring work interruptions! ... show more

Most of the day my door is wide open but I do have to attend a lot of virtual meetings and trainings. Having this on my mostly closed door prevents people from just barging in or expecting me to respond when I'm in a meeting or need quiet, focused time for tasks. I did not use their adhesive as I didn't dare permanently adhere it to a door in my office. I used a Command product instead but otherwise I'd recommend this product. ... show more

i've been using this about 6 months on my office door, which can't be seen through. some people still don't look, and once or twice i did forget to change it, but it's so much nicer than writing little notes all the time and sticking them on the door. i hate those dry erase boards.

The sign itself is very well made. The colors are vivid and reflect what you want to convey. Nothing says "STOP" like a bright red. It was very easy to attach to my door. There weren't any instructions in the package, but I went ahead and cleaned the area of the door for the sign with alcohol. There was one large double sided pad and 3 smaller ones. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use all of them. I only used the large one and it's held fine for a week. I definitely recommend this sign. ... show more

To be honest, I bought this originally as a bit of a joke for my spouse who has been working from our bedroom office for the last 7 months. However, it has proven incredibly useful! I now know when she's on a Zoom call and shouldn't barge in, or when I can poke my head in and ask a question. Even our young kids have figured out that 'red means leave mommy alone'! It stuck onto our door super easily (though I haven't tried to take it off yet either!), and has a stratifying magnet system that locks each indicator sign into place (it's surprisingly satisfying to just spin the think around!).
