The media could not be loaded. Very large Curtains. Nice fabric and Pretty Bright. the Timing is off a bit on the 2 different ones I got But Still cool. Love the DMX controllability and Customizable software (took a wile to learn) but was cool to make New designs.

Product is incredible. It’s what sets apart my little home stage from a little dj booth, to a full on production. For this price there’s nothing else better on the market.     • Great Product, But Difficult To Use With DMX

The media could not be loaded. I love this thing for what it can add to a live show (especially for the price!) but I was hoping to add it to an existing synchronized light show that is triggered via midi (MyDMX 2.1/3.0).Since there were some pretty cool programs built in, I was hoping to simply trigger them in the background of the existing lightshow but I have two complaints: 1 - In actually reviewing the existing programs, almost all of them use EVERY color, which is frustrating if you're trying to integrate it into an existing light show. If I have a scene that's blue, it would be nice if there was at least one program that used primarily blue for example. Everything seems to use every color, so you're forced to put an animated rainbow behind any one of your color themed scenes. To be fair, I found using it on brightness 2 of 4 helped desaturate the colors so it looked okay behind the more dominant wash light colors 2 - THE BIGGER THING - Who the heck setup the controls for this?!!! There are 30 auto programs total, but queueing each is divided onto 3 channels (10 each, where 0-25 is the first program, 26-50 is the next, etc.)! So to change programs you have to change two channels at once and the curtain doesn't know which channel to listen to so it always defaults back to the first. For example if I wanted program 2 to be followed by program 11, the DMX channels would have values of 26/0/0 and then change to 0/51/0. You want the curtain to do program 11 but guess what - since the value of channel 1 and 2 changed, the value of 51on channel two is overshadowed by the change from 26 to 0 on channel 1, so your curtain is going to be playing program 1 (any value from 0-25). This is crazy frustrating. It's still possible to program but will take some counterintuitive measures. I'm just starting to program now, but I'll likely have to put super quick scenes that reset the values before every program change, or I might use the software to put all of the programs I like on one channel, or some combination of both (there was only about 11 I liked that didn't look to much like a rainbow/disco). Bottom Line - seems to be a decent quality product that looks and performs great for the price. The remote also rocks. It would be perfect for anyone who wants something simple you don't have to program, but DMX programming is frustrating given then counter-intuitive way the controls are laid out. PS - One more small thing to note is that 3 or 4 of the programs are just big arrows that move and point to the right or left of the curtain. I guess the intention is to use it as a sign to draw peoples attention somewhere. If you want to use it as a centerpiece and let it run through programs, just note that periodically it might start pointing the audience toward something to the left or right of you for no reason. I'd recommend manually going through programs with the nice wireless remote instead. EDIT - So I actually did successfully program a nice lightshow with this. I did both things I suggested above, where I took the 10 or so programs I like and put them on the first channel to make things easier, and occasionally certain changes would still make it default to program 1, but I had the scene changes automated so I had a "reset" scene saved I would flip to before the ones that didn't want to work right that did the trick. That might be more inconvenient if you're triggering samples manually via midi or what not but not impossible. Still pretty happy with it. We have a ministry that travels and we set up and tear down our stage often. This curtain is the center of our stage and we love it. We just let all the images rotate because it’s challenging to program it but it is really cool. We have had it for 2 years and it has held up good. We just had an issue with the controller box that is just from lots of use and the company has been in communication with us to replace it. ... show more
