I don't know why there was an expectation of something clearly shown in bold red letters as not included, meaning the plastic holder. Plus there are several answered questions about the lack of the plastic holder and where they actually come from, which is when you purchase a new razor it's included in the package. I'm fortunate to have a holder because I just bought a new razor, having switched from the dry, itchy electric shaver. But I can see where some may dispose of them thinking they are just part of the packaging. Now then, on to the case itself. It works. When the razor and holder are in the case and the extra blade is in the other part it looks like, well it looks like the picture. It also has the look and feel of durability. It is a bit snug when closing with the extra blade, and I've yet to travel with it to see how the extra blade or the blade on the razor will hold up during travel, and when I do, very shortly, I'll let you know, but only if there is damage to either blade. If not, then I'll let it stand that I recommend this for your travel needs. So, I've traveled a lot in the past year and this has held up well. Nothing at all to complain about. In all honesty you don't even need the grey plastic holder. So that means there really is nothing at all to complain about. It's a travel holder. Can't expect much more than that.

I recently purchased an Amazon Basics razor set, which doesn't come with a case or stand. I occasionally have to travel with my razor and wanted something to protect it during travel as well as just around the house. This little case is great. It's sturdy enough while not feeling like hard plastic. There's enough room for a razor on one side and a sleeve of replacement blades on the other.

This travel case has exceeded my expectations and it's well worth the $10 price tag. It's sturdy and holds my razor and the 5 pack of razor blades with ease. And.... I read the description of the product before buying so I knew there WOULDN'T be a "plastic holder" for the razor. My razor fits in the case perfectly (the band holds the razor in place) and allows for easy open and closing with NO zipper issues. I can't speak for anyone or their issues, but I've used my case daily for two months and it works great! I'll update if I have any issues....

This case fits Gillette SkinGuard razors. It is a bit bulky and does not have a plastic insert for a wet razor. If it were slimmed down a bit and had an insert it would receive 5 stars. I made an extensive search of razor cases and this appears to be the best option for a travel case for Gillette SkinGuard razors.

I camp at least every month. one of my biggest problems is to protect my razor and razor blades. Normally I wrap them in my towel or inside A spare set of socks. This case is built strong and it has room for spare blades and razor. It also fits in my ditty bag for storage until my next trip or the next day. Also if you are A safety razor user, there is room for that razor too with its guard

Well built and durable. Use this for my gym tioletry bag to hold my razor in place + storage of backup blades. Keeps my razor clean during travel too instead of it being exposed to my other toiletries + cutting up other items or my fingers when digging through my bag to get it.

The zipper sticks around one corner and the strap that is supposed to hold the razor in place is positioned too low to work well. I do like the velcro mesh pocket that holds an extra blade. The whole thing is a little big and bulky. I went to The Container Store and bought a slimmer plastic razor case that costs less and works better. Not sure what I'll do with this one.
