    • No more key popping open in my pocket

My primary reason for getting this was to add a bit of thickness around the button that releases the key, as it kept getting pressed in my pocket and unfolding the key. It has performed that function as expected, without making it it difficult for me to purposely press the button. A secondary benefit is reducing the wear and tear on the actual case (especially the buttons). With the fob for my previous vehicle, my fingernail (kept cut short) eventually wore through one of the buttons. If the problem repeats itself, the cover will take the hit and I can replace it before the fob itself is affected. The only negative that comes to mind is the softer material of the cover is more attractive to pocket lint. ... show more

Factory fob allows buttons to depress to easily in hand or pocket. This cover just slips on and prevents accidental alarms and it’s a soft cover.
