I got this mirror during the prime day sale. The mirror arrived intact and it looked good. However installing it was AWFUL! The manufactures expect you to hang a huge mirror the same way that you hang a picture frame. Most mirrors come with a wall no there that it’s similar to a TV mount. This one only had 4 nail spaces one on in corner. This made it extremely hand to align and hang. As far as the led go… they are okay. It’s not super bright. I purchased a 72x36 for our master bath remodel and a 48x36 for our guest bathroom and this review applies to both. I returned the first smaller one because the backside had a 18” crack due to damage in shipping, so I returned it and reordered and the second one worked fine. The 72” worked fine for two days and then had a mind if it’s own and started to cycle off and on, so I returned it. This mfg makes another model that is backlit and I made the mistake of ordering it as a replacement. So I returned it and ordered the correct model and it worked fine. The unit is about 1.5” deep behind the mirror, so I removed the sheet rock to recess it somewhat and added vinyl trim so it doesn’t show. The tricky part to the install is to get the four provided screws that the mirror hangs on in the exact location as there is little room for error. Since I removed the sheet rock I installed 2x4s in the wall where the screws would land. We didn’t add any additional lighting in the guest bathroom but did add recessed lighting over our shower and toilet as the mirror lighting provides somewhat dim lighting in other areas of the bathroom. ... show more

Shipped fine and packaged well. Was a Pain to install but looked great after everything was done. Ran into an issue with the LEDs were not turning on, or flickering on/off. Fortunately it was easy to take apart - just remove Velcro backing. I found 1 of the 3 wire nuts had a loose connection which caused the LEDs not to turn on. The other 2 connections were questionable at best. Worked fine after adjusted. I would guess most of the failed lighting or defogger complaints were due to deez wire nuts. Overall great mirror, but 4 stars for the extra hassle of install and bad internal connections. ... show more

Nice backlit mirror that adds a modern sleek aesthetic to a small bathroom. Being backlit only, it doesn’t really provide much extra utility for doing makeup or for lighting up the room. Simply adds a nice aesthetic and some additional light, especially if you have light painted walls that it can reflect off of. Love how the mirror itself is frameless and it gives a very thick/substantial appearance over the typical cheap plate mirrors that are mounted with the small metal clips. Love the ability to adjust the color temperature to match the warmer tone of my vanity light. Installing the hard wired connection was super easy. Wouldn’t recommend buying if you plan on plugging in to a nearby outlet. The cord is only like 3 feet long max. Only major downside was that it was a hard to perfectly measure and install the drywall anchors and screws to make sure the mirror is properly secured and level. I ended up throwing out the screws and anchors that came with the mirror and using heavier duty drywall anchors and screws from Home Depot as I felt they would hold up better over time given the heavy weight of the mirror. Getting 2 screws lined up isn’t too difficult, but getting the mirror to mount to all 4 screws was very hard, even after tedious measurements and meticulous screw placement. A minor downside is that there is a slight delay for the mirror to turn on. I have our vanity light and mirror powered by the same switch and the light comes on instantly while the mirrors takes a second. I think the product could be improved by adding a mounting hole template to the box like they do with TV wall mounts to help with screw placement, or by switching from screws and eye holes to a cleat mounting system that simply requires you to install a level cleat on the wall and hang the mirror on it. ... show more

Ok, I’m a contractor. I remodeled a three bath condo this past year. I ordered four of these mirrors. All arrived on time. One was broken. I called, with no hesitation whatsoever. A replacement was sent and I was told to trash the broken one. Excellent customer service, Excellent product

Beautiful mirror. Expensive though! The cord is small gauge and not very long making wiring tricky. Anchors are cheap and ended up using my own. Other than that it is fantastic

This mirror will add such an amazing style to any bathroom. The back light light can be changed from white, to daylight to soft white, creating a different mood. The light itself is subtle so I recommend to complement it with another light source if you want stronger light.
