These pull-on boots take some breaking in, especially in the heel and in pulling them on and off. The body of the shoe is comfortable, however, right out of the box. It just takes me forever to get them on and off, even with the elastic panel in the middle of the boot. My heel gets a little sore after a couple of hours; however, I've only been wearing them for about a week, and the friction isn't too bad. Given that they are leather, I expect them to soften and give with wear. I am between a size 8.5 and 9, and I find the 9 fits me well, especially since I tend to wear thicker socks with boots. I was afraid that I would hate the way the elastic on the side looks, but I don't mind it. The toe and boots itself are simple but attractive. Overall, I felt these were nice quality. I was concerned because some of the reviews said they weren't real leather, but I feel in person the look is very realistic looking. They are not the most expensive looking boot maybe for the price, but they don't look cheap either. For a classic chelsea boot, I feel this hits the mark and you can't go wrong. I do think they will crease some from wear where your toe bends, but that is to be expected. ... show more

Cute boots. I have wide feet and these juuuuust make the cut off of fitting. I kept them because I'm pretty sure they'll break in as I wear them and be just fine. I like the squared-off toe and the low heel, that makes it feel like they can be dressed up or worn casually. I did the same as a previous reviewer did, and rubbed them down with rubbing alcohol to make them less shiny. The right boot seems to have more texture than the left, but its really only noticeable if you are looking at them way close (I really only noticed when I was removing the shine). The ankle is not super loose either, which gives it a nice fitted look without being impossible to get on/off. I'm wearing these with thicker socks and it was still easy to get them on. Overall, I think these will be great boots, and I think they'll be even better once they're worn in a bit. ... show more

I wore them on a trip to NYC with family and I think they look good and the heel was comfortable. The top edge of the ankle actually cut me on both my legs on multiple points, the front and the back. I don’t carry weight in my calves or ankles so i was really disappointed

These are super cute, fit true to size, and the heel is comfortable. The elastic panels make them easy to get on and off. The taller ankle shaft is great for wearing with shortish pants and keeping my ankles warm. Only negative is the finish on the heels looks kind of shiny and cheap.
