I was disappointed by how these tarnished after long-time (a few months at most) wear. I usually purchase silver or gold-plated earrings so I can wear them in the shower without ruining the metal; these shouldn’t have lost their gold color after a couple of months, but the back of the earrings began to change to a dark gray color. They’re otherwise beautiful earrings, but I don’t understand the color change. For the price, and considering the gold-plate, the tarnish shouldn’t have occurred, and certainly not so quickly. I have many other gold-plated earrings that have held up over a much longer timeframe. So again, I'm a little baffled and disappointed. They were great while they lasted - minimalist and not flashy, but unique and beautiful; I purchased for daily wear in a professional work setting. ... show more
