  • The perfect solution for your MT-09 mirror issues
If you have a Yamaha MT-09 then you are likely familiar with how terrible the factory mirrors are. It doesn't take long before they start folding back on you once you get up to speed, causing a really dangerous situation if it happens while changing lanes. You might think, "well I'll just tighten them up", which is great in theory, except that Yamaha designed the bracket in such a way that the nut access on the top is too small for any socket to fit; meaning the only way to tighten these up is to grind down a 10mm socket to fit in there. Honestly why they haven't recalled the factory mirrors is a mystery to me. That's where these replacement mirrors come in. If you held the mirror itself up to the factory MT-09 mirrors you would see that they are virtually identical, with the only difference being the bracket that attaches to the bike. These aftermarket mirrors are designed in such a way that a standard 10mm chrome socket will easily fit into the top and you can tighten it down as much as you want. It does have a spring-loaded action so it can still break away if needed, but you can definitely get it tight enough to not move when bumped or going over a certain speed. These mirrors are so close in fact, that you can unscrew the stalk from the brackets and screw in your OEM mirrors directly to them which is what I did. So now I've got a spare set of mirrors, and actual functioning brackets installed on my bike holding my original mirrors on instead of the terrible OEM bracket. The installation is extremely simple, and the provided reverse thread bolt fits without any issues on the right-hand side. A 17mm will fit that large nut, just remember that the brake side (right) is going to be turned to the right to loosen it, not tighten it. Anyway, these are high quality, they offer good support, they're adjustable, and whether you replace just the brackets or the entire assembly, they look like the factory originals, oh and the price is excellent to boot. I highly recommend these mirrors, and I'm sure they're just as solid on any bike looking for replacements. They just happen to be almost identical to the OEM MT-09 mirrors. ... show more

  • Solid Value
Great product. Easy to install, they look good, and have pretty good visibility. They are sturdy and adjust easily while riding, if necessary.

  • Cheap but gets the job done
Pros: -Fits my 2012 DR650 -Reflects things -Better field of view than stock -low profile and looks good Cons: -Vibrates noticeably more than stock mirrors -Despite what the photo looks like, the piece that attaches closest to the bike does not swivel or rotate. Once you tighten it down the only way to move that piece is to loosen the threaded screw. Not a deal breaker but I'm used to folding my mirrors in sometimes when lane splitting in tight spots. ... show more

  • Great for 'miring your guns on a Z650
My 2019 Kawasaki Z650 fell over to the right while parked on a rough dirt road (so I didn't notice it was leaning ever so slightly to the right rather than the left while resting on the side stand - oops) and the right side mirror broke as a result. I wasn't as mad as I should've been, though, because the stock mirrors were mostly good for checking out my biceps rather than the surrounding traffic, so this was a perfect excuse to replace them with something that hopefully would show less of my arms and more of whats behind me. Well, no such luck, as these mirrors have nearly the same configuration and dimensions as the factory ones, so still only show my biceps. That said, they do vibrate a lot less while at speed, so when I contort myself to actually see if any cops are coming up behind me I don't have to rely on the flashing blue and red lights to identify them. Who knows how long these will last, but the construction seems at least as solid as the stock mirrors and given the price paid I was honestly expecting something a lot chintzier than what I got. Kemimoto seems to make decent quality stuff given the price point. I have a pair of their winter/waterproof gloves, too, and they are quite serviceable, at least down to 55F (hey, it's central Florida - we don't really get wintry weather here). ... show more

  • Great product!!
They Fit great on the grom! Their adjustability is great, and they don't move at all due to any wind factors. The visibility is much greater than the original stock mirrors, this was an all around great purchase in my eyes!!

  • Better oem replacement
The mirror came with plenty of different size bolts to make the install easy and problem free. It goes on easily and it's secured with additional nuts and a tension spring. It's more secure than the oem and looks better also. This is a fantastic product.

  • Worth it
Worth the money. I originally went with a different set of mirrors that were a little more slim profile but after taking them for a ride the vibration made it impossible to see and was dangerous. I found these and it’s night and day difference. I love these mirrors. Very easy to install and seem very sturdy. I’ve been riding them for about a week now. ... show more

  • I like the shape, but
The shape works well for my bike, however, they keep turning from wind and not sturdy at all. I'm not sure how much longer they will last considering that I have to tighten up the mirrors while riding by rotating them 360 degrees on the ball they attach to. Update: getting new mirrors - these are spinning and would not hold in place any longer and I don’t see a good way to fix them. They are being held by a duct tape right now. Didn’t last long. ... show more
