These are high quality chairs! I loved the colors and the versatile cup holders. The reclining feature is easy to adjust and very comfortable. I would say they are definitely worth the price. We absolutely love these chairs! Comfy and very spacious. Worth the extra for the reclining feature in my opinion. Used them during 3 camping trips so far and they were great. I was a little hesitant to get them for the lack of a "proper bag" but the wrap it comes with is actually much better. Very easy to put together, has handles on top and bottom, plus the back strap. No chance of not being able to put them back in, which happens so often with classic bags. We love the look as well. ... show more

This is the best camp chair I've ever seen. I'm really happy I bought it. I'm a larger guy, 6 ft tall 250 lb and this chair is perfect for me. It's very high quality and it's clearly worth the money. The steel frame is thick and has a nice painted coating. The chair has lots of nice features like double cup holders that are insulated, adjustable height arm rests and an adjustable recline. I love this chair and it's very comfortable. This style of chair is typically frustrating and uncomfortable for big people. But this chair by kelty solves all those problems by being super plush and extra wide and having padding and all the right places. I don't think you could buy a better folding camp chair.     • Great quality, large but way to much recline in upright position

I bought this chair for camping, Girl Scout events, tball events and concerts, thinking it would be a good option while having to sit for long periods. Like everyone else said this is a large comfy chair. Compared to a typical camp chair it’s very big. I am taller and my feet do hit the ground but my back ends up being very curved. I don’t think I could comfortably sit for long periods of time like this. That’s the only thing I didn’t like and why I am most likely going to return it. Even in the most upright position I am forced to lean back. I would have to sit forward in order to roast s’more with the kids. I would not recommend this for someone who has less mobility. I could see it being very hard to get out of. If that doesn’t bug you I would highly recommend this chair. If I return it I will be getting the Kelty essential chair because the quality of this chair is great! Very study and will last a long time. ... show more

Very sturdy and comfortable. Nice big pockets. In the straight up position, it does seems to lay back a little far but not far enough it's hard to eat in. I'm 6'2 215lbs and it's on the verge of being a little too big for me. My kids keep stealing this chair from me so they can lay down in it! A great chair for the drive in movies! ... show more

The chair is well made and packs up easy. However, the chair is big. It's wide and the length of the bottom seat is long causing discomfort as it cuts into the back of your knees. My biggest complaint is the lack of lumbar support. Even at the least reclined position, it's still pretty far back and offers nothing for your lower back. It's a great chair for 30 minutes in front of a campfire but I wouldn't bring it to watch a kid's sport for a few hours. ... show more

I thought all camp chairs were the same, so I initially balked at the idea of paying $50+ for a simple camp chair. But I saw all the excellent reviews on this one and I happened to catch it on sale - $67 instead of the usual $89 - so I went for it. So glad I did! This thing is SO COMFORTABLE! Love the extra space in the cup holders for bigger cups, and the wrap that goes around the chair makes a perfect mat for my dog to lay down on too! This was well worth the investment! ... show more
