I usually wear a size 7.5-8 depending on the shoe and based on another review, I purchased the 7.5. The shoe fit perfectly and still gave me wiggle room so I would agree and say if you have a shoe range, order towards the smaller end of it. The shoes are really sturdy and look beautiful. The wheels do indeed light up although mine lit up red/green rather than the purple/teal shown in the photo. Not really an issue for me but if that's why you're buying the shoe, its not the same color. I did have to place the laces in myself and the box also came with additional bearings and an L key if a replacement is required. Great shoes, now I just have to learn to roller skate!

The media could not be loaded. I have a pair of low top derby skates already but thought these would be fun and could be shared with family who don't have their own skates. A few negatives: 1. Sizing is off. I ordered what was listed as US Women's 9. They are at least half a size if not a full size too big. Notice that the sizing guide says to measure your insole not your foot. Not everyone has an easily removable insole to measure. If you do, measure it. If not, order a half to full size down. I do think the men's sizing may be more accurate. 2. The vinyl is stiff. Wear tall socks to protect your legs and possibly thick socks or moleskin for feet edges. Though they attempted to add a little padding at the top of the boot, the edges are still rough. 3. Directions say you should be 110 lbs or less. This is absurd as these are adult sizes. I am well over that and had no problems, but it is worth noting the unrealistic guidelines. 4. The brake/stopper is huge. I fell the very first time because I tripped over the stopper. I included a picture comparing my high end skates to these for reference on how much these stick out. 5. Directions say for outdoor use only. Though the wheels are on the soft side which is typically used outdoors, I don't know why they would specify that they shouldn't be used indoors. Pros: 1. Fun, bright pink. 2. Light up wheels are fun! My daughter is thinking of moving them over to her skates to use outdoors. 3. I skated around my kitchen and garage and they seem to skate nicely. No problems. 4. They came with extra bearings and a tool to remove the wheels. This was a nice touch. There were only three bearings though so not enough to replace all. There were also no instructions on removing/replacing the bearings. Overall this is a nice set of skates for the price. Obviously I prefer my skates that were 6 times the price, but these are decent for the occasional skater, a young person still growing, or someone who isn't sure of the investment yet.

I really enjoyed these skates!!! They do run a little big, but they were still comfortable. The wheels were a little loose , but come with a wheel tighter and extra screws. The wheels roll well and love the fact that they light up! Make the perfect gift!!

We got these for our daughter who is wanting to learn how to rollerskate. They did end up being a little too big for her even though we sized everything based on the measurements provided. They are superrrrr pink. Like if Barbie had rollerskates, these would totally be what she'd have. They feel sturdy and of good quality. The wheels are thick and solid, as is the stopper in front. I like that it came with extra tools to help tighten things up. They are really easy to lace up and feel very secure around the feet/ankles. However the best part.... the wheels light up and they are really bright! So much fun for kids and adults alike and worth giving a try, especially as basic skates for beginners.

These skates have a satisfyingly, snug fit. They support your ankles well and fit true to size. It's been many years since I've been in roller skates but these are quite fun and confidence inspiring. They roll pretty smoothly and it's so fun when they light up.

The media could not be loaded. These roller skates are so cool... the wheels light up with red, green, and blue colors when the wheels roll!! They fit exactly as expected and they are so much fun! The siding on them is not super thick but it's not thin either and the ankle part has some cushioning... the insole is slightly padded too. There is an Allen wrench included to tighten the wheels. I am happy with these roller skates... they are perfect for beginners or experienced skaters. I recommend them!
