Skates arrived too small. I wear 8.5 in almost every imaginable type of shoe, boot, etc...so that's what I ordered here. They can be forced on my feet, but are far too snug for moving around in, let alone any kind of aggressive skating (even if I were to try barefoot). Additionally, mine came with one of the 8 wheels refusing to light up. Seller PROMPTLY agreed to send a replacement size 9 which arrived quite-fast, and all wheels light and function as expected. This pair fit PERFECTLY, comfortably, and I'm fully grateful/excited to own and use these great skates. If fortunate to be considering purchasing these, PLEASE consider ordering the next size up over normal. It most-certainly worked for me--it's just too bad I wasn't aware of this upon initial ordering, either through reviews, or clear statement in product listing itself--perhaps the seller may make adjustments to avoid a hassle such as ours...but for us, it was definitely worth the effort an a minor delay!

I am reviewing these roller skates as a newbie. If you are professional you may have different opinion about these skates. These skates are solid and they fit very tightly. I feel like my regular shoe size actually runs small for these skates. I wish I went half size up. I like how the wheels light up as they roll, but they only light up when the wheels roll, like flashes of light, and they are not as shiny as depicted in the product images. For me, as a beginner, it is not easy to keep my balance with these skates, but I am assuming that it is a newbie thing and not necessarily due to the skates.

Ok, first of all yes, these are the skates you’ve always wanted ever since you were a little kid. YES THEY LIGHT UP! Yes they fit true to size! Yes the laces are long and thick but could be a bit fatter, and can be replaced! Yes, they look good and feel good on. Yes, all of your friends will wish they had some too! And yes, your own mother, who was a legend back in the early 80s for doing triple axels while carrying food orders out carhopping at sonic, is going to love these skates. Yes, you might have to buy her some too, bc skating was the only time you can remember ever seeing her look so completely free. Yes, you, a woman in her late 30s, can wear these around the house ONLY; just until you find some knee pads, elbow pads, and a helmet bc the last time you wore skates our current president was still the vice president and our body had a much better relationship with gravity. Yes, your children and your pets are going to make weird faces at you, but your husband is gonna LOVE ‘EM. Yes, you will smile the second you start moving in these skates, and yes- you will giggle. Note: these wheels are glorious, gushy, comfy indoor wheels. They are smooth and feel so good to skate on, they grip the floor so nicely and wear like an absolute dream. You’ll want to get a set of outside wheels if you plan on taking these puppies on the road bc the ones that come with the skates aren’t made for outdoors and you don’t want to ruin them by taking them onto pavement.

These roll smoothly and are way cool since the wheels light up. They fit nicely (I sent up 1/2 size), except the edge around the ankle seems to dig in a bit, I might just leave the top holes of the laces loose, water thick socks and I suspect they will break in after a few uses.

My daughter is a little older so she wanted some more mature skates (with a little bit of fun) and these skates were right on the money. The black with led wheels were the perfect combination. I just wish it had the hooks on the top for more security.

I got these skates for my 13 year old daughter. She generally wears a size 7.5 in women's and I got a size 8. They fit her well and she doesn't complain about them rubbing on her heels or anything. She has worn them multiple times and goes skating with her friends on the street. They appear to be made well and the wheels light up. I'm very happy with these skates. They are durable and my daughter loves them!
