S'mores taste good. Why would you concern about hardness, If you want them hard then toast them on the highest setting but I would highly NOT suggest this. The texture is good. I've loved frosted cinnamon pop-tarts my entire life. I don't even toast them, just open the pack and eat them. They are one of the best. While the pastry is pretty dry it is well compensated by the cinnamon sugar.
