A bit confusing for the different cards -but the questions and answers are clear. Good quality thicker weight cards. Wish there was more questions, for different levels/stages of cognitive decline.

She enjoyed it so much I did a search and came up with about 50 more well-known sayings, We've played it many times. Her daughter bought a set also.

I bought this set for my nearly 87 year old mother who has moderate dementia. Her doctor wanted me to get more things for her to stimulate her brain. This looked very simplistic online, as my mom still has a certain sharpness to her; but actually, she REALLY enjoyed the first time we went through all 3 colors of it! It was more challenging for her than I thought it would be. What I did to introduce her to them, was lay out 8 expression cards at a time, and I'd find the answer cards to each one and lay those out separately. When she found an answer, I had her put it on top of the expression card it belonged to. Some of the expression have been used in popular songs, so when she needed a hint I'd start singing the line - many times that worked! When she got stuck on one after I tried twice to prompt her, I just had her move on to another card. Process of elimination would leave the hard one for last and she still had a sense of accomplishment. You can probably use these like a card game as well, which I'll try next. She loves gambling so I thought of maybe incorporating a win out of it for her, too. :) Even I enjoyed doing these cards. Good purchase!

TL;DR: The blue expression cards did not match the answer cards and caused confusion right off the bat! The green cards aligned. Returning due to error. Otherwise these might be 5 stars for what they are meant to be.
