These KEEN boots exceeded all my expectations. I wore them straight out of the box for a weekend hiking trip, no break-in needed! The comfort is outstanding, with great arch support and just the right amount of ankle stability. They’re truly waterproof (I tested them in wet, muddy conditions), and the traction is excellent on all terrains. I also love that they feel sturdy without being heavy. I bought these for a trip to Alaska, they were great. They were comfortable and lightweight and kept my feet dry. They are expensive but I have wide feet and they fit me well. I had tried Merrell and some others and all too narrow.

Sturdy and waterproof. I hiked all over Iceland for a week in these boots. They were relatively comfortable but by the 3rd day I had a bruise on the inside of both ankles. They are light weight and have good traction. Worked well for my trip.

I took these boots hiking in Zion National Park. They gripped properly, provided perfect ankle support and kept my feet warm and dry. I have a wide toe box and they fit perfectly. Would buy again.

I actually purchased (2) pairs of Keen boots. I wore one or the other everyday for 2 months and within a few days - both pairs of shoes had a split on the outside of the boot almost in the same exact spot on all four boots. Prior to that - I loved them. They were super comfortable. They didn't make my feet hot at all and on cool mornings they kept my feet warm. And they WERE waterproof ... until they weren't. The boots fit me just right. and I have no explanation for why they all split on the outside of the boot in the same spot making them unwearable. ... show more

Great hiking boot! Very roomy and not tight at all. I usually have to get a wide in any footwear but it was not necessary with these boots. First time out of the box I hiked 13 miles in the mountains. Great support, great tread and no blisters. Highly recommended!!!
