With slip-resistant grip, cushioned support, and quick-dry, recycled plastic webbing. Made from recycled PET plastic bottles, the Women’s Astoria West Sandal is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using a natural, pesticide-free probiotic-based technology called Eco Anti-Odor for breaking down odor in sweat, PFC-free water repellent (in applicable styles) and leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries. I have narrow feet and KEEN is the bestest for me. Wanted to give the Astoria a try. But the vamp on these sandals was rubbing on the tops of my toes. I returned and ordered another pair of Whispers as I have the blue pair and they fit Great.

Love the Keen water shoe. I use them in aqua class primarily but substantial enough to hike rivers and streams. My only complaint is that the tops wear out eventually but the souls never do. They always look like new.

I’ve been wearing Keen Voyageurs since 2013 and have LOVED them!! I am a short fluffy bunny and I needed a shoe to keep my feet stable and on the go for a week in Disney World. I read a review from a woman who hiked in them through like 37 miles in the Grand Canyon with no blisters! I bought my first pair of Keen Voyageurs in my normal size, 9.5. I hiked all over Disney World and true to the review, no blisters or broken ankle, they were magic! My husband didn’t listen to me. He bought Nike’s and used an entire box of band-aids on our first night. No fibbing, a whole box of band-aids!! And yes, neither of us had broken in our shoes beforehand. So, it’s 2022 and I am on my third pair of Keen Voyageurs and I had also gotten one pair of Keen water sandals for our summer trips to Lake MI and the rivers but this year I really needed a new pair. It’s been so long I could not remember which type I had ordered or apparently the size. After several tries I need a 10 to get the sandals on. My husband had issues with the fit of the Keen sandals too, something about the area on top of your foot and the back of the ankle is hard to get into the opening of the sandals. I believe my only pair of Keen sandals had been Newports and I loved them. This year I wanted to try the Keen Whisper because it’s a little cutier and dressier looking. Sadly for me, not comfortable at all. First, while the size 10 got my foot in the sandal it was a little too big for my toes. In a short while my piggies were trying to escape the the much larger openings on the sandal sides which along with the extra room made them very uncomfortable to wear. The rubber on the toes is much smaller too, which is cute, but if you plan to spend time in a river tubing you’ll want the Keen Newport. It’s not exactly cute or dressy but it’s a work horse of a water sandal. For some odd reason the size 10 in that style fits me perfectly. You won’t ever stub a toe, have run away piggies or too much excess room. They are super comfy! Expensive lesson learned. ... show more

For sheer comfort I would have given these sandals five stars. They are a joy to walk in, providing excellent support for the foot, as well as great shock-absorbing sole. They also withstand walking in water very well. My only issue (unfortunately quite a crucial one) is with their sole becoming slippery when wet, making them quite dangerous to walk in on wet, rocky terrain. Since they were made for water-walking, this is quite a problem. While these are the only sandals that offer great fit and support for my narrow feet, my husband's much cheaper brand was both comfortable for him and not at all slippery when tackling the same watery paths. I do love them, however, for daily use and for dry terrain. ... show more

I purchased these sandals to wear to an event I was attending in the NC mountains during the summer. To be honest, I'd tried on Keen shoes before, but I didn't like the way the toe box fit. But these were the only sandals I could find that had a closed toe and would be good for a lot of walking, so I thought I'd give them a try. After just a couple days, I fell in love with them. They are incredibly comfortable, very light weight, and best of all, waterproof! Having been caught in those NC afternoon rains, I knew I'd need something that would stand up to being wet, but having to stay on my feet the rest of the day. Since these sandals are so comfortable, I think I may try a pair of shoes again, just to see if they work as well. ... show more
