As a Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor, I wanted shoes for the summer to train individuals for both indoor & outdoor sports. These shoes provide comfort, protection, and proper support. I am a size 7 in men’s but ordered my normal size 8 and they fit perfectly. My foot/ankle tend to be on the narrow end so I would not recommend for wide feet -it’s not that they run small but potentially narrower than some may want. My feet do not sweat in them compared to other similar sandals. The quality of these sandals is far more superior than any other sandal (I felt the same with my Keen boots). My only scare was when I was home and surprisingly slipped (as you would on ice) on a few water droplets - vinyl floor. Luckily, I know how to fall. I tested them again and now I am simply mindful to stay away from wet surfaces. Otherwise, BEST sandals ever if you are looking for proper support, posture, quality and attractiveness.

I’m a woman who has been wearing women’s Newports for many years. I am a size 9. When I went to replace my old pair, I discovered the sizes have changed. 9 wouldn’t fit, 9.5 was still too small and the straps were sewn on oddly, pressing on my toes. When I measured the new sandals against my old ones, they were shorter and narrower. So I decided to try a men’s Newport. I went with an 8 and it is the perfect fit. It’s exactly like my old women’s pair. I even held them up against each other and they exactly lined up. If you’re a woman struggling to get Newports to fit like they once did, ditch the women’s model and get a men’s in 1.5 sizes smaller.

I purchased these mostly for walking along the shoreline and in the water. They are GREAT for that purpose. on pavement there is a bit of movement but no discomfort. As for "hiking" I think a better choice would be a sturdy, ankle high boot. However, these were much more comfortable than I expected. Great product,

This is the 3ed time I have purchased this brand and model of sandal! I love them! They are comfortable, tough, very long lasting and look great! My first pair are still very much usable they just don’t look as good as the newer pairs. Back to the Romans- if they had sandals of this quality and comfort they would have conquered twice the territory they did!

I've traveled and hiked the world in Keen Newport H2 sandals! This is my 4th pair and are truly great not only for outdoor activities, river crossings and casual dress, great with shorts. Size 8 is a perfect fit, no need to order 1/2 size larger. Excellent quality, great arch support, adjusts easily and truly COMFORTABLE! I would not consider any other brand of men's sandal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Super comfortable once you get them adjusted. When I first put these sandals on, I adjusted the elastic “laces” for a tight fit. After my first day, my feet were hurting. The next morning I decided to give them another try. This time i loosened the elastic and what a difference! They fit perfectly and are super comfortable. The toecap keeps wayward sticks from running up between your toes and the materials in its construction allow you to wear them in the water. You may think twice about the price but once you wear them I’m sure you won’t regret getting them. ***One Year Update *** I was right. Super comfortable. I live in them.
