I'm a woman, but I bought KEEN ***Men's*** Howser 3 Slide/Slippers for 2 reasons. 1. NOT a fan of their Women's Color Selection. I had really hoped for a solid sage or avocado green. KEEN, Please consider this: you'd really do better to offer ALL colors to ALL PEOPLE regardless of what's under our clothing. Especially as women who do the outdoors are all very different from one another when it comes to fashion; some of us wear pastels, some of us wouldn't be caught dead in those colors, while many of us want both. 2. KEEN Howser Slide/Slippers, both Men's & Women's versions are NARROW and TIGHT OVER the INSTEP. This means I can't fit a pair of socks on with a woman's version of the KEEN Howser Slide Slipper. Not wearing socks causes the slide/slipper and insole to collect sweat. This means bacteria Will form, and even mold can form inside your insole and slide/slipper. Not only will you and your slides develop an off-putting odor, this will cause your expensive Howser Slide/Slipper to degrade at a faster rate. There are things you can do to mitigate the sweat problem.*** The KEEN Howser Slide/Slipper is a GREAT banging around INSIDE the house SLIPPER that is also a GREAT banging around the OUTSIDE the house SLIDE! Better than average slippers, there are No worries about rain or wet ground, no problem with driveway gravel getting into your Slides because the 3/4 inch heel keeps you just above that. What is even BETTER, you can dress up with some of these Keen Howser Slides and go anywhere else too. They are well made with quality materials and they are incredibly comfortable. I'll be wearing them for the rest of my life. I see future me buying a pair or two more in other colors 😃. If it is now Late Summer to Autumn 2023 and you are thinking of purchasing a pair of KEEN Howser Slide/Slippers but are balking at the price, do NOT think to wait for sales! Three times have I done this, and all three times the Howser Slide/Slipper I wanted was NEVER AVAILABLE, nor was my second choice. I've always settled for a slide/slipper I wasn't thrilled with. These sell like the proverbial hot cakes, to the point where I'm beginning to wonder if KEEN doesn't under produce with purpose. But in any case the truth is there, if you wait, you are going to miss out on the KEEN Howser Slide/Slipper you REALLY wanted. BTW, I bought a pair for my SO, Chris, and he LOVES them! i DID show these to him first, as there are gifts do require input from the giftee. *** Wash your feet before wearing your KEEN Howser Slide/Slippers, then use a foot powder or foot deodorant/antiperspirant. Buy new insoles frequently, those with charcoal may help. Lay your Slides on their sides when not in use, this allows air to circulate; a slide or shoe sitting upright does not allow air to move in and out, (think of the shoe as being too 'full' of air to allow anymore in, lay them on their sides to spill that funky air out and allow fresher air to circulate through). A couple bricks of plain charcoal wrapped in a paper towel and placed in your shoe when not in use helps to absorb moisture and odor. You can see now that wearing socks is easier, though you might still have to do any of the above from time to time for best results. ... show more

Great shoe, very comfortable, sturdy, fits perfectly. I wear a size 8.5-9 men's and bought size 9. I like this type of shoe to fit true to size, differently than a running shoe or hiking boot where I buy 0.5 in larger for more room in toe.
