  • Try to keep water off the controls .
Style: RED / 1300 WATT
I used it for my blow up hot tub , it works great on three hundred gallons of water with ease , the water been up-to 120 f from the heater , in the winter . I had to take the lid off to cook the water down so I could get in it . I had the temperature to high so I adjusted it down to 104 f.

  • This is a solid product.
Style: WHITE / 1500 WATT
You don’t want the cheap 60 dollar Esther heaters you want this. This is amazing. I first got the 60 dollar ones. And it broke. But also. It takes these things a long time to heat up a tub. So having the thurmustat built in is great. On the other I had to buy a seperste one. And it kind of didn’t work well. This has a very simple temperature gage knob on the top. So you just set it to a temperature. Our tub is plastic so I was afraid it will burn it as it leans on the side. It didn’t. So now Make sure you unplug it before getting in the water. The tub. There is always a change with a shirt on any electric device. S human can touch a bare wire and live. But if there is water it will kill you. Don’t take the chance. This thing can hear water in the 200s. My bathtub has jets but the apartment was poorly designed with a small water heater. Now I fill the water and use it to epson salt soak and can get a few soaks out of it. Also. It’s but. Id say 10-12 inches. Looks smaller in photo. Just know all heaters take time. Like hours. It set it up the night before etc. ... show more

  • So far it's working great
Style: WHITE / 1500 WATT
I use this to heat up my soaking tub to a nice 102 degrees, the shut off switch is great and it takes about 2.5 hours to go from 75 to 102 degrees in a tub of about 20-25 gallons of water. It says it made in Korea and seems to be build a little better than the $60 ones. Price is a little high bit you do get a better quality item, well worth it. ... show more

  • Perfect for heating up a hot tub past 104.
Style: WHITE / 1500 WATT
Background & Warning: Please note I used this for a 310 Gallon Hot tub. So this works perfectly for my use case, but please note this IS NOT waterproof, it may be water resistant in some manner, but it's just as dangerous as throwing a toaster into your hot tub while its plugged in. So DON'T USE it while you are in the source of the water that is being heated, just in case. So this allows me to heat my hot tub past that 104 limit, this is important as most inflatable hot tubs DO NOT go past 104. Meaning that with the jets going and the top of the hot tub it loses heat FAST. So another way to make sure it prolongs the time you are in the hot tub is to get another heating element. Please note though, it's strongly recommended if you high wattage pull already on the outlet you plan to use, don't plug it into that outlet. This might cause your breaker to blow due to wattage limits per outlet in America. Now for my use case it worked great, as simple as adding some pull on the cable to increase the angle of the heating element so it doesn't get too hot on the sides of the tub. TL;DR it works for my use case which is for an inflatable hot tub. ... show more

  • A bit short for a 55gal
Style: RED / 1300 WATT
I use this for my 55gal automatic chicken waterer. I wish it was longer to get down to the bottom of a larger barrel to heat more efficiently and keep the nipples from freezing up during the super cold...but other than that it works great and has kept the water from freezing through some serious Maine weather. Just make sure to keep an eye on the water line. ... show more

  • Is it really stainless steel?
Style: RED / 1300 WATT
I realize this device is for heating buckets and my repurposing is probably not it's intended use. It heats rapidly and turns on and off as needed. I am using it as a large outdoor fishtank heater. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because after a few months use the supposed stainless steel has completely disintegrated and I'm pretty sure rain water should not cause this. Will post pictures to show the level of metal failure. ... show more
