I needed some new clasps for my necklaced, including in particular one that was threatening to come apart. This here is your average basic set of gold and silver colored spring-loaded lobster claw clasps, which can be installed using precision pliers or similar. They're all just one size and style and it's a set of four in one color, four in the other. I noted that the opening lever was neither too hard nor too easy to open. It should be noted that these are gold and silver plated stainless steel, not pure, but that's to be expected. I just thought I'd mention it in case there was confusion or people were worried about nickel skin allergies. Basically, they'll get the job done and are pretty easy to put on, so that's good enough for me.

The lobster clasp is not very big. Works great if what you are using it with has a small ring or area to clasp on to. I ordered them for my medical ID bracelets. I have one in silver and one in gold. It works for my silver one, but not my gold one. So - they work fine, but just be aware that what you wish to clasp them onto needs to be small. And, of course, you can't tell that from an Amazon photo.
